. . .
Nature. Get it through your head. I am not Christian. I don't give a crap about the Bible and if my apparently I have given into the freaking temptation of being who I was born as, or if I have sinned or whatever. I don't think you are seeing the separation here between each religion.

Okay. Now, I won't tell you to believe in anything or anything like that, but i'm just gonna say, I don't support gay marriage. But that doesn't mean that you're my mortal enemy now. I just don't support gays or homos or whatever.

You see, I couldn't care less. I'm not being homosexual for your approval, or your liking, or anyone's for that matter.

Okay. I KNOW not everyone here is a Christian. I know the people who aren't are most likely 99% sure they don't want to be Christians. But you never know what might happen. That's why I'm staying on the thread.

You can't magically change someone's religion by talking about how God didn't make homosexuality on a Gay Rights thread.

I didn't sat it would happen "magically". You never know what God may do. I know that you don't believe in Him, but I'm just sayin'!

NATUREWIND.... JUST.... NOPE. NOPENOPENOPE.
Can you find a way to say this is wrong with out referencing the bible? Can you? If you can, I will be very impressed. There are people of other religions. We don't listen to 'god's word', or at least, not how it's written in the bible. Also, earlier you said that nature didn't create anything? That god created everything? Hm... As a witch following a blend of several religions that believe a very different thing, I have to say that that may not be true for all people. Not saying it's bad for you to believe in what you do, but to each their own.
Now... For my views... WHY CAN'T PEOPLE JUST MARRY WHO EVER THEY WANT? -rageragerage- I'm a bisexual... Well, asexual, and biromantic, but close enough. xD Pretty much 3/4 girls and 1/4 guys. Maybe even just a little more on the girl side of being attracted to people. I for one think marriage is pointless, just a way to get the state or churches money, and to make people feel better about their relationships. BUT IF PEOPLE WANT TO GET MARRIED, WHY... JUST WHY CAN'T THEY? Remember separation of religion and law? Yeah, well, not allowing gay couples to get married goes against that little thing called the constitution. THERE IS NO OTHER REASON BESIDES PEOPLE'S PETTY RELIGIONS WHY THEY, WE, SHOULDN'T BE ABLE TO DO WHAT WE WANT.
heheheheheh... okay... i'm done here. xD [/blockquote]

What country do you live in? I live in the U.S.A. Alot of people here do too. And the pledge is, "......One nation under GOD....." Our nation was built on family and Christ. If America was built on that, why are there so many religions in here? It doesn't make any sense. It even says it on every bill in America, "One Nation Under GOD." And I won't stop. God has told me what to do in my life. And it is to share God's Word with the people. One more thing. It even says in the Bible, "The world will hate you(meaning Christians)but remember that it hated Me first." So I knew that all of you wouldn't be thrilled hearing about God. I expected that. But that won't stop me from spreading God's Word to the people of America, Australia, anywhere.

When the old ugly guys made it, they made it under god, cause they believe in that. If Cookie was the main religion in the u.s it would be "One nation under Cookie" he book constantly contradicts itself. For all we know, this book was written for a good laugh. e-o I think its lovely to marry who you want, I'm pretty sure my uncle who had to drive all the way across the country would love hearing this. I respect your thoughts, i'm just putting mine out. Sorry if this offended anypony in any way. -mini rant over-

Fine. You guys' juicy arguments made me stay. Dx
Thank you for that, Scarry. <3 You unintentionally took the stuff from my brain and made it pretty.
So... Naturewind, you're saying that atheists don't belong in America? xD Feel free to talk about God all you want- if you feel it makes your life better, I won't try to stop you- but it doesn't mean I'm going to take up your beliefs.

Broken Shadow: You didn't offend me in any way.
Forestbreak: I'm not saying atheists and non-believers need to move out of America. I'm just saying that was the first religion. And I wish that different religions hadn't moved into America. It just messes everything up. Arguments, wars, divisions....It's terrible when those things happen! *sigh* well, it doesn't make my life feel better just to talk about God. It's something I feel led to do. That's why I talk about Him. Anyway....I'm NOT and WON'T force any religion on anyone! It seems some of you don't understand that.

That's why I talk about Him. Anyway....I'm NOT and WON'T force any religion on anyone! It seems some of you don't understand that.If we really wanted to get technical, the first religion in America was . . well, no one really knows considering how many Native American lived here before the Europeans decided to ship people over. So they sent the Spaniards/Portugualians (because I'm too lazy to look up what you call them) and they brought over disease and whatnot and killed everyone because they wanted to spread, dare I say it, CATHOLICISM. But if you were referring to the pilgrims my dear . . . The Pilgrims and Puritans (yes, they are different people) came here to avoid the religious prosecution going on in England at the time. I'm not sure what sect of Christianity was being practiced in England at the time, since they liked to switch from Catholic to Protestant, but I'll just pretend it was Catholic. So yeah. I'm not one to say anything about what the Pilgrims practiced for a religion, but the Puritans . . . BRING ON THE WITCH TRIALS. (And yes, I know a lot of religions practiced forms of witch trials, but it's still fun to say) Yeah, talk about an extremist religion. >.> ---- Pilgrims and Puritans = Protestant, so you aren't even getting the whole "Christianity" thing in America. As time progresses, people develop different ways of thinking. America is not a state that evolves around religion, and if it was, we wouldn't have the First Amendment. If[i/] America was to have one religion, that would actually cause more conflict within itself. You'd have to have prosecutions of the people who did not believe in your religion, trials, LOLACTUALLY PEOPLE WOULD PROBABLY JUST FREAKIN' DISAPPEAR.
So yeah. No idea what this thread is about. Gay rights? Well, I just came here to post that because I felt like it. ;D. I guess I'll post something that involved the actual topic of the thread.
Gays are people too.
Back in the olden days, we had slavery. The Blacks couldn't vote . . . or do anything besides work . . . and eventually they got their rights. Took a heck-of-a-long time to get those rights, but they still got them and use them today. Woman in those days couldn't vote. Took a heck-of-a-lot longer for them to get rights, but eventually they got them, and they still use them. Gay people come in every race, color, ethnicity, gender, but they don't have rights. They will get them. Every minority has.
