This Is The Life (O)

[Swiftflight]

<sup>After training with her mentor, Spottedheart, Swiftpaw made her way to the Apprentice den. She sat down in the middle of it, she could see empty beds of moss and with that little look, she felt the ambiance of home. Swiftpaw, knowing that her clan had already set up a bed of moss for the new apprentices, felt wanted and needed by that simple kind act. She would barely hear the whisper of a nightly rainfall as she enjoyed the small thought of her clan.

Swiftpaw looked behind herself at the sky which was dotted with dark and gray clouds that were squeezing rain onto RockClan's territory. It was too early to call it a day for her, she was use to staying up for awhile, she quietly strode over to the edge of the apprentice den, sitting silently as she watched the rain with a smile of contentment on her face, wishing to enjoy this soft and calming weather with another apprentice...</sup>

Blazepaw was still out in the rain, laying on a rock allowing the rain drops to fall on him. Water never really bothered the tom to tell the truth. Yes it was a bit chilly, but yet again, it was worth it.
Blazepaw was spayled on his stomach, thinking about today. He was named Blazepaw now, not Tenjiro anymore. Also the tom didn't get to train yet, but he will soon! But the tom knew he could wait because of all the apprentices that one warrior had.

He sighed and turned over onto his back, then he rolled to his side. Blazepaw decided it was time to go in, not asleep though. Quietly, the tom padded to the apprentice den. You could tell he was going to be tall now, he was growing like a weed now. He woudn't be the strongest cat, but he could be a good hunter at the least.
He soon was a few feet away from the entrance of the apprentice den, right before he was about to walk foward he noticed the shape of a cat. Blazepaw sniffed a few times, "Oh hey Swiftpaw." he said quietly, not wanting to wake up the others.

Swiftpaw saw Blazepaw laying out in the rain. Wasn't it chilly? She laughed before smiling to herself, wondering where he had been at the start of their training. She still wasn't use to calling him Blazepaw, Tenjiro was just so familiar to her! She watched him get up and start coming towards the den, she could just start to tell how tall he was growing, while she stayed the same size. She noticed him stop, probably sniffing her out to identify her. She smiled at her friend "You know i'm up this late!" she laughed quietly at him.

Swiftpaw nodded a greeting to him "Hi, Te-Blazepaw." she whispered back, letting out a shy giggle at her mess up "Sorry, still getting use to these names." she smiled, her stub tail twitching. She looked out towards the rain "It's really calming isn't it? After such a big day, it's wonderful." she smiled, laying down with her front legs tucked in. Her ears were twitching ever few seconds, listening to the rain drops falling into puddles or hitting the dry, cracked ground.

He smiled "Yea I should know that." Blazepaw walked over and sat down in front of her, still in the rain. Blazepaw tucked his front paws beneath of him and stretched his back legs out. His ears twitched everytime a rain drop spattered onto him. The toms blue eyes looked Swiftkit over, she didn't seem to be getting any bigger, oh well. He doesnt need a tall friend. He wrapped his tail around him, even though he wasn't cold. His fluffy hair kept him warm.

Blazepaw nodded "Even I myself still think i'm Tenjiro." It was true, he has been getting confused. Earlier a warrior called out his name to have a chat, but Blazepaw forgot that was his name. So the apprentice walked on. "I don't mimd if you mess up." he added with a smile, she was his friend after all.

Swiftpaw watched the rain and then glanced over at him "You should sit inside before you catch a cold, Blazepaw." she laughed, his name was weird in her mouth. Still not use to it. She looked out towards the sky, even though the rain was cold, it was a decent temperature out, not too hot or cold but there was some humidity. That would mean a dense fog would come through the territory in the morning.

She looked over to her friend as he began talking "Well, you are Tenjiro, just a different name." she smiled, he had it a lot harder than him. If someone called out her name, she would be able to respond but he had a whole new name to get use to. She nodded "It'll take some getting use to but i'm sure you'll get use to your name in no time." she looked at all the apprentices who were either asleep or grooming themselves before looking back towards the rain, she was tempted to go run and play in it like a kit but knew better, she had to be more responsible and mature now. Or at least she felt like she had to.

Blazepaw decided to make a pretend fuss about going in, with a large sigh he stood up. "Fiiiine." The tom said, drawing it out. He slowly padded inside, groaning. The apprentice sat down beside her and threw his head into his paws. He stayed there a few seconds before sitting back up and laughing.

He swished his tail around and said "Yea it's a little hard for me, but i'm pretty sure I can get used to it." Blazdpaw sounded confident. The apprentice drew his paw over his ear a few times before he rolled onto to his side. He stretched his legs and put his head up. He was now laying on his side but he had his head up.

Blazepaw turned his tail around in the rain, tempted to go play in the rain.

Honeypaw walked in with mud all over her pelt. She saw two cats in the middle of the den. "Is it ok if I join?" Honeypaw asked. She didn't know them but she wanted to be friends with everyone.

Blazepaw jumped, like usual. Okay, maybe he only hangs out with Swiftpaw, alot. But Blazepaw is happy too though. He turned to the muddy she-cat, "Ermm okay.." he said uncomfortably. So you can say Blazepaw hid back in his shell.

Swiftpaw laughed as he made a scene about coming inside from the rain. She knew he was joking, no way would Blazepaw get worked up over someone looking out for him. She laughed with him when he sat back up, laughing as he did.

She nodded as he explained that he would get use to it in due time. She couldn't help but notice when he put his tail out into the rain. She sighed, he must have really wanted out into the rain. She jumped up to her paws and out into rain, splashing into a puddle and sending a murky wave of puddle water towards Blazepaw.

{short because im in the bath and meh hands are wet. xD Yeaaa im 15 and still take baths, at least im really a girl. xD]

Still having his mind on hiding from the new cat, he didn't what was going on at first. As the mud splashed him, Blazepaw noticed she must have seen his signal of wanting to play in the rain. Forgetting about Honeypaw, he jumped up and ran to a puddle. The tom splashed the some water towards her direction. "Payback!" he yelledx/whispered. It was that whisper that strained at your voice to be higher.

I didn't notice Honeypaw posted, sorry dear!

Swiftpaw smirked at Honeypaw "Sure, join right in!" She said quietly before feeling a cold wave of the same murky water wash over her. She felt a shiver go up her spine as she shook herself dry, scattering water around them. She dug her front right paw into mud and then flung it towards Blazepaw, mud flying off her paw towards her friend and then a couple other drops of mud scattering at Honeypaw.

"Thanks" Honeypaw said. She watched as some of the muddy drops landed on her. She took off running to the puddle getting them all muddy. This was fun I wish some of my other friends will turn to apprentice soon. She thought to herself.

Blazepaw laughed when the water hit Swiftpaw. But with that, mud landed on his face. The tom spat it out and blinked. "Thats gross!" he mewed.
