Flamepaw padded into the apprentice den. She was so happy to be with her sister Diamondpaw but sad about leaving her two brothers behind. She was close to her brothers and couldn't wait for them to be apprentices with her. Another reason she was excited she wanted to show that Fireclan apprentice to bot mess with her, but she really wasn't looking forward to it.

I saw the orange apprentice enter the den, I didn't know who she was, but I thought she looked nice so I padded over to her and greeted her happily, "Hi! I'm Rushingpaw but you call me Rush. My mentor is Dawnmist and I got my ear taken by Emberstorm from the Battle of RockClan vs. FireClan," I tried to tell her as much as I could about myself.

Flamepaw looked up at the cat named Gingerpaw or called Nilla and then Rushingpaw. At the mention of the battle Hazelkit came back into her mind. He mentioned his ear being gone and she looked at her giant wound on her belly, going from the top of her chest moving all done her belly."I'm Flamepaw. I got this from a Fireclan apprentice named Frostpaw. The next time I see that cat he's going to pay. He almost captured me along with Hazelkit, but I got away just in time," she meowed. She flattened her ears at the thought of Frostpaw. He made her so angry.
