Aspenpaw felt sick. Turns out, her crush liked some she-cat he just met. A sigh whelmed her body. Her teal eyes were clouded with sadness. She looked around, feeling small and sad.

Swanpaw noticed her sister. She looked unbelievably sad. Curious and worried, the white and black she cat made her way towards her sister. "Aspen?" she mewed, sitting next to her, "Are you alright?"

Swiftpaw looked over, seeing Aspenpaw curled up and looking feeble. She padded over slowly and crouched near the other apprentice, looking at Swanpaw and then back to Aspenpaw "Hey, Aspenpaw. Everything alright?" she asked. Her eyes were filled with concern.

"I guess." Aspenpaw said with a sigh. She was usually super happy to see Swanpaw or Swiftpaw, yet today, she felt so depressed.

Swiftpaw curled up next to the apprentice and smiled at her "Want to talk about what's bugging you?" she asked Aspenpaw, her smile was sad but it held trust and concern for her friend. She sighed, she hated seeing Aspenpaw this way, the cat was usually so happy and energetic.

Swiftpaw frowned "I'm sorry," she sighed "That's really rough." she muttered, nudging Aspenpaw with a loving nudge. She didn't know how that felt but she guessed it felt pretty awful considering how depressed Aspenpaw was acting. She frowned, never wanting to feel that kind of pain. Maybe it was worse than physical? Or did it cause physical pain? She shrugged and looked back to Aspenpaw.

"Thanks, Swiftpaw ..I guess I feel a bit better." Aspenpaw said, a small smile forming on her muzzle. Her teal eyes also had a tiny shimmer in them.

Swiftpaw smiled "No worries. He will come around when he knows how much of a true warrior you are." she nodded "He barely knows her, so how can he just fall for her?" she scoffed, lauging a bit as she tried to cheer Aspenpaw up.

Mosspaw padded into the apprentice den, yawning and sighing happily. She suddenly noticed Aspenpaw looking droopy and sad. "Whats wrong?" she asked, genuinely sad about seeing the other apprentice the way she was.

Swanpaw had a few guesses on who her sister was talking about, but didn't say a word as she gave her older sister a few licks. She looked to see her other sister, Mosspaw, walk up as well. She weakly smiled at her, patting her tail onto the ground beside her so Mosspaw could sit with them.

Mosspaw's eyes were round "Cavernpaw?" she mewed "he's your crush? I--I'm so sorry". Her tail drooped "He's the best thing that has ever happened to me... And I don't know what it would be like if I lost him. I can't imagine how you feel right now".

Aspenpaw suddenly smiled. "Thank you, but I think he really likes you. And you like him."she said, finally figuring something out. She smiled again. "I'm about to have my ceremony, and I shouldn't spend my last days in here upset!"she said, her pretty teal eyes shining.

Mosspaw purred to see her friend turning back to her old self "I know you will find your perfect match someday" she mewed "and your right, none of us should mope! We are all about to become warriors!"
