The apprentices' den was dark and gloomy.
Lump-shaped forms were barely distinguishable from the wild tangles that were their nests.
Suddenly, a pair of soft gray orbs blinked open.

It was like a light turned on.

I blinked, slowly adjusting to the dark.
I yawned lazily and stretched, waving my long, sweeping tail like a flag.
I padded out of the apprentices, den narrow eyed and sharp-eared.

My long fur fluffed up against the bitter breeze, my small paws curled under my to keep in the warmth.
Slowly, I nodded off, my nose falling against the frozen ground.[/center][/size]

[Starlight]

Silverpaw woke up seeing she had never gotton off the rock she had been on, Silverpaw hadn't been sleeping well so she mostly spent her time outside some days she didn't sleep at all. She saw Lilypaw pad out of the apprentices den, that must if been what woke her up "Good morning Lilypaw" i call.

I jerked awake, my gray eyes opening wide in surprise.
"Oh..."
I mewed, blinking.

"Hello, Silverpaw."
I curled my long tail neatly around my body, crouching quietly on the frozen earth.
I twitched my whiskers and watched my breath make frosty clouds in the frigid air.

"Sorry if i surprised you i must have fallen asleep on this rock" she said as padding down and grabbed a piece of fresh-kill, "Would you like to join me"? I asked her as i sat down to eat.
