Wanting to know him better (Duckpaw/P)

[Flameheart]

Flamepaw looked around the den for one of her best friends. Duckpaw. Shewanted to talk a little. He was always so sweet to her and she wanted to get to know him better."Duckpaw you here," she meowed loudly. She scanned the den. His scent was stale, but it was still there.

[Ducksong]

Duckpaw heard his name, coming from Flamepaw. She had been really nice and understanding of how it was to be blind. Duckpaw and Flamepaw had the same mentor, yet they hadn't been trained yet. Unless Flamepaw already started. "I'm here." He called from his nest in the far corner of the den.

[Flameheart]

Flamepaw saw him in the den. She bounded over to him."Hey," she meowed. She put her tail on his shoulder to tell him that she was right next to him."What do you want to do?" she asked him. She really wanted to get to know Duckpaw more and she liked him a lot.

[Ducksong]

Duckpaw wanted to do something. It was just the matter of what. "Well. What do you want to do?" He asked Flamepaw. He liked her and they had the same mentor. "Has Rushingleaf trained you yet? S/he hasn't trained me yet." Duckpaw commented. (Is Rushingleaf a girl or boy?)

[Flameheart]

Flamepaw looked over at Duckpaw."Well I haven't been trained either. I haven't even seen my mentor," she meowed."There is no scent of him either," she meowed."Well maybe play a game?!" she asked.

[Ducksong]

Duckpaw liked that idea. He hadn't played at all as a kit, so why not do it while young? The miniature tom got up out of his nest, stretching his back from laying in his nest all the time, only getting up for prey. "Okay. What do you want to play? I never played as a kit." He stated to Flamepaw, only to tell the truth.

[Flameheart]

Flamepaw smiled brightly."I didn't play that much either because I don't have to many friends. What do you want to play?" she asked sweetly. She looked at his beautiful blue blind eyes. She liked him a lot, but the question was did he like her back?

[Ducksong]

Duckpaw thought a minute before speaking. "I don't know. I've heard of the game, Warriors." He said, waiting wearily for a response to his game. He felt the blue orbs watching his body. Did she like him? Cause he sure liked her.

[Flameheart]

Flamepaw looked at him."Well how do you play?" she asked him. Did he like her? She was tempted to ask him, but stopped herself before she said it.

[Ducksong]

Duckpaw didn't know how to respond to that. "I guess you just act like you're Flameheart of Rockclan and I'm Duckstar of Fireclan? That's how I've heard it played in the nursery. Though I'm not sure they play it right." He replied. Duckpaw noticed a breath taken to say something, but it was held back. "Where you gonna ask me something?" The small tom asked Flamepaw.

[Flameheart]

"That sounds fun," she meowed. Then looked up at him again."Well I was wondering....I love you," she blurted out. She put her tail over her mouth and widened her eyes. What would he say to that?

[Ducksong]

Duckpaw's eyes widened. Is that how she really felt about him? "I feel the same way." He explained. "I love you too." He said to Flamepaw. It was the truth. He was glad she said she loved him. He didn't know how to say that to him though.

[Flameheart]

Flamepaw looked at him with shining eyes."You do, no one has ever loved me before," she meowed. She would have never guessed that he loved her.

[Ducksong]

Duckpaw meant what he said. "Of course I love you. You were the only one there for me in the nursery." He said, looking into her eyes without actually seeing anything. "Sometimes I forget when I'm blind. I see past it and think of what the kits in the nursery would look like. What do you look like?" It was true love.

She smiled so big."Well I have a flaming colored pelt with Crystal blue eyes and I'm small for my age," she meowed. She looked into his beautiful blue eyes."I will always be there for you," she whispered in his ear. She pressed her head against his and purred.
