Cavernpaw stood up and stretched. Looking down at Mosspaw, he purred. He decided to get fresh-kill for Mosspaw and himself. He plucked up a couple of mice and went back to the apprentices den to wait for Mosspaw to wake up

Mosspaw stalked a mouse in the forest, and she was about to catch it when another scent of mouse caught her attention, only it was a stronger scent ;;; Mosspaw woke up, stretching and blinking to make sure she was actually awake... The scent of mouse was still there! She sat up and noticed Cavernpaw watching her with two mice in his mouth and she purred. Her fur was sticking out everywhere and she mewed in embarrassment "Sorry, I'm a mess right now..." before cleaning her pelt.

Mosspaw's eyes shone "That sounds fun" she mewed, standing up and purring at memories "do you remember when we were new apprentices and I was going hunting for the first time with you and we got chased by that fox?"

Cavernpaw's eyes gleamed happily "I do. Thats also the day we found out we liked eachother" he mewed, affection in his eyes

Mosspaw laughed softly "And it wasn't even that long ago... It just feels so far back" she mewed, purring and looking down at the mice "I think we forgot about eating".

Cavernpaw purred "I know, it does feel like long ago." then he looked at the mice. "Oops. Here" Cavernpaw pushed a mouse toward Mosspaw, then took a bite of the other

Mosspaw murmured her thanks before taking a bite of mouse, her pelt tingling as it brushed up against Cavernpaw's.

"Mmmm..it feels like I haven't had mouse in a moon" Cavernpaw mewed, letting the warmth of Mosspaw's pelt soak into his and letting out a soft purr
