Swanpaw's eyes glowed at the thought. "I'd love too," she grinned at him.

He took off trotting, then ran, to jump off the cliff into the Swimming Hole. He landed in the water with a splash. He laughed as he swam around, dog paddling.

Swanpaw followed with a yowl of delight. The she-ct grinned over at the swimming male with a purr, giving his snout a splash.

[Froststrike]

Laughter. It filled the wonderful, clear air of Rock Clan camp, even after the battle. FireClan could not take their happiness away from them, never. Well, maybe a little patch of happiness was gone, called Hazelkit, but that was all. Frostpaw had heard that FireClan had taken captive another kit, Antkit of TreeClan. That was preposterous! What were they planning to do with the kits? Were they running low on kill, and Darkstar had a quick fix to et her all time favorite meal?

Frostpaw often thought about the kittens, wishing that the wicked Leader of FireCln had taken him instead, or another apprentice. He wondered if Swanpaw felt the same? Did she worry about Hazelkit? She probably did, since infant Hazelkit was her childhood buddy, whom they called Hazel Nut.

He thought about that during his jump, and stopped thinking about it during his landing, so Swanpaw could return to making her usual fun even funner. He laughed with her, and splashed, then bobbed underwater. H poked her in the side, then came up to yell, "Fish bites!"

Swanpaw screeched with laughter. "Stop it!" she cried, giggling, her blue eyes shining.

He laughed at her squeak, and splashed her some more. His green eyes twinkled as he played, his mind finally cleared.

She laughed and dived deep under the water with a loud purr.
