Cavernpaw layed out in the sun, letting it warm his golden brown tabby pelt. It felt good, but he would rather be out doing something.

"Hey, Cavernpaw." Aspenpaw said, walking past. She had been really upset when she found out Cavernpaw didn't like her as much as she liked him. But she was over it mostly.

"Wanna go for a hunt?" he asked hopefully. "It feels like I haven't talked to you in forever" he wanted to receive her forgiveness. Cavernpaw had heard that Aspenpaw had once had a crush on him

Flamepaw padde out of the apprentice den. She stretched her back out and yawned. She looked around to see if her mentor would train with her yet, but no sign of Dawnmist. She spotted two other apprentices."Hello," she meowed padding up to them.

Aspenpaw shrugged to Cavernpaw. "Okay."she said, then saw one of the new apprentices, Flamepaw. "Hi, I'm Aspenpaw."she told the other she-cat.

Cavernpaw lead the wait out of camp. "Listen. I didn't realize that you liked me until I already had someone I liked. Do you think you could ever forgive me?" he mewed in earnest

Aspenpaw weakly smiled. "Its not your fault. You can't chose who like. " she told the tom, her teal eyes shining. "And yes, I think I can."the pretty silver tabby said, a playful tease in her voice as she ran up to catch up with her friend.

Aspenpaw purred, then heard the twig snap. She turned her head, only to see a blur of something. "What was that?"she asked, wondering if Cavernpaw had seen it.

"I think it may have been a squirrel" Cavernpaw replied, then dropped into the hunters crouch. Creeping forward slowly, Cavernpaw spotted the small creature scuffling in the leaves. Cavernpaw stilled then pounced, killing the squirrel with a blow. Cavernpaw padded back over to Aspenpaw and dropped his prey. "Is there anything else hear?" he asked
