Cinderpaw blinked open her beautiful green eyes. It was still night. The stars still twinkled in the dark sky. Cinderpaw rubbed her eyes. Ugh. I wish I could go back to sleep. she thought. She hadn't been able to sleep the last few days. Then she had had a lot of training to do. Cinderpaw knew what would cheer her up. Hornet? she asked peering through the darkness. Hornet's nest was fairly close to hers (if not right next to it). She knew he wouldn't be up for the lovey stuff because so much was on his mind all of the time. She prayed that he was awake. She wanted to spend time with him as friends. So maybe they could be BFFs.
