Oriolepaw padded into the apprentices' den with a huge smile on her face. She was finally an apprentice but she had left her friends. Hopefully she would meet some new friends soon. Her mentor was Nettleflight. And it would be good for her because Nettleflight was a very serious mentor and would make her a great warrior.
"Hello?" she called. She waited for someone to come along hopefully to be her friend and show her around.

"Oriolepaw!" Nightpaw jumped on her friend and rolled over her, excitment overwelming her, "i've missed you! And there is bearly anyone in the apprentices den!"
She nuzzled her friend to her feet and looked her up and down, she had gotten big since the last time they talked. "I cant wait for us to train together!"

Flyingpaw padded nervously into the den. She cleaned her fur, which was ruffled from playing with her old friends, and looked around. She saw Oriolepaw and Nightpaw. The small cat had seen them when she sat in the trees that actually had branches(which she did very often) and had caught there names too.
Hoping she made a good first impression, Flyingpaw walked over and said, "Hi, my name's Flyingpaw."

Nightpaw turned her head to see this new apprentice, Oriolepaw and Flyingpaw had been apprenticed at the same time and she was happy to make some new friends in the Apprentice's den.
"Hi Flyingkit," she mewed and shifted twards the kit," like being an apprentice?"

"I don't know, I havn't done any training or apprentice stuff yet." she replied, wondering if Ashstorm would train her today, like he said. She turned back to the older apprentice. "How about you? Your mentor's nettleflight, right? She seems a bit...." she searched for the right word, "..strict."

Oriolepaw gave a huge smile when she saw her best friend Nightpaw. Then an apprentice that had been apprenticed with her was named Flyingpaw arrive. "My Nettleflight is my mentor too." she meowed. "I don't mind if she is strict that means that she'll make us great warriors. And I'm sure Ashstorm will do the same for you!" she meowed.

Flyingpaw nodded in aggreement. "Yes, I'm sure Ashstorm will be a great mentor. Is Nettleflight alright?" she asked Nightpaw, not mentioning the warrior's recent behavior.

Oriolepaw waited for Nightpaw's reply. Oriolepaw hadn't trained with her mentor yet so it was unknown to her.

Flyingpaw looked between the two apprentices, wishing her friends were apprentices too. She knew her brother would come along soon, but not soon enough, it seemed.

Nightpaw nodded," she is fun, unless you get her mad or get on her bad side, but besides that she's cool. Plus with her as our mentor," she paused and looked a Oriolepaw, " we will be great fighters to thr clan."
She sat down, Nightpaw couldnt wait till tomorrow when they would all go together for a hunting lesson, and Nightpaw hoped she would do good, she was lean and light on her feet so the prey wouldnt see what hit them.

Flyingpaw sighed and lay down. Ashfur hadn't trained her much lately, and she hoped she would become a good warrior too.
"So, what do you want to do?" she mewed. This first day in the apprentices den was starting to get sort of boring. She would even find ticks at the moment.

Flyingpaw's ears perked up. That sounded like a lot more fun than lounging around here.
"Sure!" she mewed, standing up and giving herself a shake to get rid of any dirt she had collected from the den's floor. She smoothed down her fur with her tongue while she waited for Nightpaws answer, trying to make it shine.
