SHE SITS DOWN WAITING FOR HER APPRENTICE TO SHOW UP. SHE TOLD HER THAT SHE WOULD BE WAITING FOR HER HERE, BUT THAT ISN'T SAYING THAT SHE WON'T BE LATE. SHE WAITS PATIENTLY CONSIDERING THE MOOD SHE IS IN. TOO MANY APPRENTICES AND NOT ENOUGH WARRIORS. EVEN SHE HAS TO TAKE ON AN APPRENTICE. SHE LOOKS OFF IN THE DISTANCE WHILE WAITING.

(-.- THIS IS MY LEAST FAVORITE PART. TRAINING.)
SHE EYES SPECKLEPAW UP. DARKSTAR WONDERS HOW GOOD OF A WARRIOR THIS CALICO CAT WOULD BECOME. JUST BY LOOKING AT HER, SHE WASN'T SURE. "WHY DON'T WE START WITH SOMETHING EASY, CATCHING PREY. I'LL FOLLOW YOU, YOU TRY TO FIND SOMETHING." SHE WAITED FOR HER APPRENTICE TO FIND A SCENT. THIS WAS DARKSTAR'S FAVORITE THING TO DO WHILE SHE WAS AN APPRENTICE. FINDING THE PREY AND CATCHING IT MADE HER FEEL LIKE SHE WAS DOING SOMETHING FOR THE GOOD OF THE CLAN. NOT THAT SPARRING WASN'T, BUT SHE JUST LIKE CATCHING THE PREY BETTER.

SHE FOLLOWED BEHIND SPECKLEPAW WHILE SHE WAS CATCHING THE MOUSE. "WELL DONE SPECKLEPAW. NOW TELL ME, WHAT WOULD YOU DO IF YOU WERE ONE A HUNTING PATROL AND NEEDED TO GO GET MORE PREY IF YOU CAN."

DARKSTAR HOLDS BACK A SMILE THAT ALMOST CREPT ACROSS HER FACE. "OR, YOU CAN DO THE EASIER THING AND JUST BURY IT AND COME BACK FOR IT WHEN YOU ARE FINISHED HUNTING. HOW DOES THAT SOUND?"

DARKSTAR LETS THE SMILE SHE WAS HOLDING BACK CREEP ACROSS HER FACE. "YES. IT IS VERY IMPORTANT TO BURY IT, SO DON'T FORGET TO DO THAT. ANYWAYS, SHALL WE TRY TO CATCH SOMETHING DIFFERENT FROM A MOUSE?"

*smells for another sent, she finds a sent for bird, she follows it untill she sees a little black bird, she crept up to it slowly, trying not to me a move that's to fast and scare the bird away, and she final pounces on it, not let the feathered creatcher get away*
