Nightsong smiled and led the way out of the camp. As soon as she was outside she felt free and she opened her jaws tasting for prey, she scented squirrel. Creepy quietly as she could she dropped into a hunters crouch and spotted the squirrel, grey and fur, kinda like her own pelt. Preparing to spring she killed the prey without a sound, besides the squish as her teeth sank into its neck. Putting the animal down she looked at Greenpaw, your almost a warrior show me what you can do."

Flyingleaf followed them out and saw a starling pecking at the ground. She crept up and pounced on it, biting its neck. When she looked up, Nightsong was watching Greenpaw. She sat down next to the gray cat.
"What's up?" she asked.

"Nothing much," she whispered, "I'm trying to see what Greenpaw can do, you know, because she is almost a warrior now."
Nightsong sat down and watched intently.

Greenpaw rolled her eyes when Nightsong wanted to see what she could do. She scented the air and what came up was rabbit. A hard one for most but not for her. She spotted the big creature not to far away. She stalked it silently. Her tail pointed straight out behind her and her paws steps light. when she was a tail length away she darted out of the bush and tackled the rabbit. it was almost bigger than her. She killed it as fast as she could and dragged it to Nightsong and Flyingleaf."Happy now," she meowed dropping it at their paws.

"You'll need to catch more than that at your assessment." She squeezed through the camp entrance and walked to the fresh-kill pile to deposite the starling. (lazy)
