Icypaw looked at Wildpaw hopefully this sweet she-cat would never know the truth. But maybe she liked Fangpaw too. To much drama for the young she-cat's mind. She cursed under her breath then went on. "Yah! He must be good Talonfang has a few apprentices as well."

[seriously you guys? apprentices are only supposed to have small crushes, and all out love battles and drama is just pathetic. it's like you guys are begging for mates. you know, having a mate isn't everything on this site, in fact, having a mate only gets you less friends on here, for, you only really role play with him/her and then drama. and no, i am not going to be mates with fangpaw, for our characters are best friends, and that is it]
Birchpaw felt rather uncomfortable, noticing the cats were so hung up on love. The undersized apprentice rolled her eyes, and with a huff, left the den.

Gracklepaw squirmed when they spoke of mates. Ummm.. weren't they too young? Gracklepaw grew awkward when he realized he was not 'in love' with any cats. In fact, he felt nothing more than friends with any of the females. Sure, some were very pretty and interesting, but he had not chosen a crush, let alone a mate.
He glanced at Birchpaw, the more experienced apprentice here. Who did she-- Oh. She got to her paws, and walked out of the den. He felt relieved that he wasn't the only one who found this conversation odd.
"Birchpaw! Wait, can we go do something together? Like practice, or something? I don't wanna stay around and listen to them, either."
He purred as a small chuckle escaped.

Icypaw stared at Birchpaw she only had a slight crush on Fangpaw. Yet, being not as pretty as Wildpaw he would probably choose her. She padded toward the entrance of the nursery not wanting to be rude she flicked her tail in goodbye.
