Nettleflight padded back into camp, a clump of berries clinging to her claws. She didn't know if they were poisionous or something useful, but she knew Waspwing would like to hear about them.
And, there was something else that was bothering her. Well, two things actually. Her cheek was re-opened from a fall she had while training her apprentices and her twisted paw was throbbing and she was limping more than usual. "Hey, Waspwing." she growled, tossing the berries on the floor and rubbing the juices on the ground.
"I found a whole patch of theres things out in the clearing. Any use for them?" she meowed, digging her claws into the ground. She wasn't exactly friends with the medicine cat and he wasn't friends with her. Letting out a fit of coughing, she shook her head, trying to ignore it.

Waspwing glared at Nettleflight, then the berries. "You're lucky those aren't deadly." He muttered, turning away from her again. He wasn't even doing anything, just sitting and staring at his nest, almost as if a vision would appear there if he stared long enough.
"Other than the juniper berries, is there reason you have for entering the den, Nettleflight? He muttered, flicking his ears. He was in a rather irritable mood, well, more than usual. The thing with Forestbreak and Sparrowfur had majorly p- made him mad. So now he was just sulking in the den.

Nettleflight shrugged, coughing agin, her muscles shaking. Clenching her teeth, she turned back to him, a smirk on her face. "Oh, how I haped they had been death berries." she meowed, digging her claws into the gound.
"Seems you're in a bad mood as always, Waspwing. What a joy to be around." Rolling her eyes, she flicked one of the berries over to hom, her fur on end. "Now, if the introductions are put to the side, I twisted my paw. Well, let me rephrase that. I fell out of a tree and hurt my twisted paw. Reopened my cheek, as well." she growled, expecting him to reject her.
A raspy cough shook her, making her shudder. "And that, of course. Seems I'm just the picture of health, yes?" she laughed, flicking her tail.

"I recall a story my mother once told me..Where if a injured or sick warrior admitted to feeling pain or illness, they would be retired for their weakness. And I do not mean to the Elders' Den." He whispered, wrapping a small thing of cobwebs around his paw.
"I would usually help your cut to make sure it is not infected. However my supply of herbs isn't as..Great as it once was. And I doubt it is that bad." He explained, doubting Nettleflight even cared. "As for your paw..I could tell you to rest for a few days if you want. Otherwise there is nothing I can give you, well, except poppy seeds. But those will also make you sleepy." He said, patting the cobwebs onto her cheek.
"Your cough could not have any worse timing." He muttered, stalking back over to his pathetic herb stores. "I have..Some..Catmint to give you.." He mewed, pawing at the little pile of catmint. Surprisingly he had more catmint than most other herbs. Usually he could never even find it.

"Funny." Nettleflight meowed, not exactly knowing what he ment. She hid it, though, as she would to anything she didn't get. Flattening her ears, she looked at her paws. "I... I don't exactly know what that means." she admitted, not liking it. Flicking her ears up, her icy blue eyes flickered, her fur raising.
"I saw Darkstar destroy the supplies. I was trying to get to her when they all left..." she meowed, recalling the battle. "No, it's not that deep, just bloody. Rest, huh? I need some. My apprentices are a spirited group." she meowed, finding humor in it. Letting him put the cobweb's on her cheek, she let the scents of the den flood into her jaws, sweet scents of herbs making her smile.
"Catmint, huh? Tinydove has a little stach near the nursery. There isn't a lot left, though. And, if you think I need it, yeah?" She began licknig the berry juice off of her paw, gaging slightly at the repulsive taste.

Waspwing snapped his attention back to Nettleflight so fast he was shocked his neck didn't break. "She had what?!" He snarled, fur fluffing up. Someone was storing catmint? That was by far one of the rarest, but most helpful herbs any medicine cat could ever have. How long had Tinydove had this? How long would she keep it a secret? Oh, he'd talk to her. She would not get by with that without punishment.
"Does she know that hiding herbs is not only wrong, but stupid? And what if she's eating it?! She could eat a poison berry just to try it and die!" He hissed, pacing back and forth.

Nettleflight fell back in suprise, her fur soaked in some of the berries. "Dang it, Waspwing!" she yowled, annoyance prickling her pelt. "Ugh, I just cleaned myself off." she growled, watching him pace across the den.
Whisteling, she shrunk herself to the ground, her vioce a whisper as she spoke. "Yeah, she eats it." she mewed, laughing. "Okay, look... Uh... thanks." she meowed, her voice soft. Her ears were flattened and her felt made her look like a rabbit, her fur on end.
