Hollowpaw. No longer Hollowkit. He liked the way it sounded, Holowpaw. He was so exited to start training and what was best was that his mentor was Beechstar! One day Hollowpaw wanted to be leader so being trained by the leader was an awesome thing to happen to him. For now he just had to make himself a nest.
Hollowpaw looked around. He didn't have any friends yet so he didn't have any specifac spot where he wanted to sleep. He sighed and looked around. There was a reasonably empty spot at one side of the den. He padded over there and began to gather some moss for a den.
Hollowpaw looked around the den. There were lots of other apprentices here so he might have the chance to meet some new cats. So far he had only really met Koisplash. She was really nice and he didn't mind hanging out with her, but they had really only met once. It would be nice to make some friends his own age.
"Maybe I will make some friends."
Hollowpaw told himself. He smiled and nodded. When he was a kit he had never really made any friends so right now he figured it might be good for him to make a friend or two. He finished making his nest and sat down in it. [/blockquote] WORDS: 325 TAGGED: open NOTES: Hi QUOTE: Doctor Who; The Big Bang. Flyingpaw padded into the apprentice's den, her tail swaying back and forth. Her eyes landed on a new apprentice.
"Hi, I don't think I've ever seen you before, you're new, right?" she purred. "I think your only the second tom apprentice I've really seen. There aren't that many. So what's your name?" The she-cat was feeling especially peppy for some reason and was being a little bolder than usual. Amber eyes gleaming, she studied the tom, finding she sort of liked his strange markings.

Hollowpaw looked around his new den and then saw an apprentice walking towards him. He smiled at her, trying to be nice. He didn't want to make a bad impression on the first cat he meets as an apprentice. Hollowpaw dipped his head to her when she said hi. "I am in fact new."
He confirmed what she said. The she-cat kept talking and he listened to her and when she asked for his name he kind of hesitated because he almost always got their name first before giving them his, but shrugged. What harm could it do. "My name is Hollowpaw and it seems strange that I'm only the second tom apprentice that you've met. You'll meet some more eventually though." He meowed with a smile. This cat seemed really nice. So it wasn't like she was going to be rude to him or rip his neck out if he asked her some stupid question. He hoped he never met a cat like that. He himself could be like that if he was having a bad day, but he tried to not have bad days. Hollowkit sighed away his tangent of thoughts and smiled again at the cat who had approached him. "May I ask your name too?" [/blockquote] WORDS: 328 TAGGED: Flyingpaw NOTES: Daw, it's the first cat that Hollowpaw has met as a apprentice QUOTE: Doctor Who; The Big Bang. "He's not the only one , though." A purr rang in the den , resounding off the walls of the newly made Apprentices' Den. Dappled sunlight cascaded down the new roof , giving off warmth and coolness at the same time. A young tabby tom lay at the very center of the den , where the warmth stayed the longest. Grovepaw's unique pelt was seen clearly among the other apprentices , its onyx hue and and even darker stripes making it even more noticeable for cats who enter the den. Under all that was a palette of pure white , coating Grovepaw's paws , belly , chest , and muzzle. But the most intriguing of all , was the strange tint of his eyes. Unlike the usual blue , green , or amber , the tom's was a bright orange , like the sun's hue when it set on the horizon.
And unlike most felines who wanted much more unique features and appearances , this young apprentice adored his outer looks. Grove revealed a smile on his face , showing his sharp white teeth. His orange orbs were fixated on the newly made apprentice and his younger sister , Flyingpaw. A stab of irritation crossed him , but he kept it hidden cleverly behind his captivating smile. Needless to say , the siblings went into a fight , with the Flyingpaw accusing him of harassing another kit and him trying to explain that the kitten he was battling playfully with actually like what he did. But enough about the petty fight between brother and sister , today it would be about Hollowpaw. Grove stood and padded over , licking his pelt until it was slick and shiny - looking. He gave a friendly nod of his head to his new den - mate , meanwhile casting a short glance at the cream and white she - cat.
"Grovepaw. Another of the clan's tom apprentices." The black and white tabby mewed with a bright and inviting smile , his white - tipped tail flicking back and forth idly.

"Yes, I suppose you could say I have 'seen' you as an apprentice. But not since the ceremony. I was actually hoping to have to wait less than 3 days or so before you finally showed yourself." Flyingpaw mewed, sounding a little hurt. "I missed my brother." she whispered, so soft it could hardly be heard.
Brightening again, she said, "Well, enough about us older apprentices. Now where were we? Oh yeah, you asked what my name was. I'm Flyingpaw, It's nice to meet you." If she had a hand she would of held it out, but since she didn't, she just smiled at him.

Hollowpaw heard another vioce and turned his head to see another tom. This was pretty much the first tom that Hollowpaw had met other than Beechstar. Hollowpaw realized something then. Beechstar had carried him to Iceclan during the fire, but Beechstar was also now his mentor. How wierd. Maybe Beechstar had set it up that way.
Hollowpaw then snapped back to listening to the two cats. He started listening just in time to catch both of their names. Flyingpaw and Grovepaw. They were both very nice names and Hollowpaw made sure to store them away in his memory."It's nice to meet the both of you."
Hollowpaw dipped his head to the both of them and smiled at them. It was always nice to meet new cats and he hoped that maybe he could make friends with either one of them or both that would be awesome. Nightpaw listened from inside the den, just being awoken by the noise. She moaned and tryed to cover her ears, she reconized the vioce of one of her best friends Flyingpaw and two other toms. She giggled quietly to herself, what could Flyingpaw be getting herself into she thought.
Gettting to her feet she peared out of the den and saw Flyingpaw with a greyish tom and a darker close to black tom. Sqeezing out of the den she wondered if she would be a warrior soon, she could bearly fit in the den and training was bound to be over very soon, she was excited yet sad.

"Nightpaw!" exclaimed Flyingpaw, rubbing her cheek up against her friend's. "I was just talking to Hollowpaw and Grovepaw. Hollowpaw's new, and I dont know of youve met Grove yet, he's my brother." When she mentioned Grove, Flyingpaw glanced back at him in a way that said they hadn't been close their whole lives, but it lasted only a split second before she returned to her cheerful self. "I haven't seen you in a while, where have you been?"

Nightpaw licked her friend back, " Oh out and about, " she mewed cheerfully, her silver fur brushing against her friends. (I was on a mission trip for church). Looking a side glance at the other two apprentices she stands next to Flyingpaw, her fluffy tail swishing back and fourth in the air.
"I havent seen you two anywhere before," she mewed to Grovepaw and Hollowpaw, sure she had seen them in the den but this was the first time she had seen the apprentices in person. "Enjoying apprentice-ship?" she mewed looking over Flyingpaw's shoulder. But Grovepaw had a dangerous feeling and look to him, as if his ora around him gave it off making her shiver a bit.
"Nice to meet you," she sqeeked, not meening it to come out in a sqeek.

"I guess you'll be seeing me around more often." Grovepaw said with a perky smile, feeling a bit light on his white - furred paws. The black tabby tom's orange gaze swept to another of the she - cat apprentices. This one was a grey tabby, a feature in felines he saw very often. Nightpaw's fur patterns were the same as him, with only few differences in them. Grove lowered his head again in the same manner of greeting like he did with Hollowpaw. "Grovepaw. Flyingpaw's older brother. It's really nice to meet you, Nightpaw." The tabby said with a delighted purr.
Grove was really glad in meeting a few of his clan - mates, but the tension between the two siblings was too much to bear. Finally, he just cracked and turned his orange eyes to look at his cream - pelted sister, an apologetic look set in his face. "Flying .. I'm really sorry for shouting at you. I just .. got carried away." He apologized, pinning his striped ears to the back of his head and averting his gaze, instead looking down at his white fore - paws.

Nightpaw nodded, sitting down and giving Grovepaw a sideways glance at his muscular build then turning back to Flyingpaw, "Great day for hunting.
I would be a great day for hunting, the sky was a bit a gloomy so it could consceal her grey fur, but her blue eyes might stick out a bit. There was something to the dark brown tom that made Nightpaw shiver, was it his looks? Personality? She didnt know, so she ignored it and waited for Flyingpaw's or Hollowpaw's reply. Hollowpaw seemed to be a bit quiet today.

Flyingpaw twitched her tail in acknowledgment to Grove, not wanting to distract anyone with more personal topics. "I wouldn't say it would be a very good day for hunting for me" she said to Nightpaw, "I would probably blend in when its bright and the light looks like the patterns on my pelt, with blotches and everything." The apprentice noticed Nightpaw's uneasy glances toward Grovepaw. She wondered what it was that she didn't like. Her brother could seem a bit dark at times, but no cat was perfect. (maybe its his pic. maybe if we added a rainbow...jk XD

(haha LoL) Nightpaw thought and said, "Do you think that we would all be aloud to go out on a hunting patrol together?" She doubted it but it was worth a shot, if they could that would be great! She was great at hunting do to her stealth and camoflageing stripes which really came in handy in the forest. "Up for it?" she asked.

"Sure!" said Flyingpaw, starting to get excited about this gathering after all. It shouldn't not be allowed, four apprentices were probably enough to take whatever was out there, and it would be serving the clan, right? "I want to try out some things, like hunting in trees or something." her tail began to move back and forth like a snake through sand as she planned what she would do. (thresh- I suppose the g'day fellows thread is over?)

Nightpaw smiled and looked at Grovepaw again tilting her head just a bit she found his dangerous figure enchanting. Shaking it off she signaled the others to follow her into the woods through the gorse tunnel. Lashing her tail back and fourth as she went it followed her steady movements. "You cats comming!" she yowled over her shoulder, impatiantly.
