Flyingpaw caught up to Nightpaw. "How's Jaypaw?" she asked softly, acting on a suspicion. "Are you two still together?" (lazier than ever)

"I'm not sure," she mewed sadly still looking at the ground, " I saw him with Finchpaw." Looking down at her paws she forced tears back and sneered hoping none of her other companions saw she berried her snout in Flyingpaw's fur and stopped.
"I dont know what to do now," she mewed, "What if I never find a mate." Her blue eyes burnt into Flyingpaw's fur as she opened them, they were stained with sadness and grief. All that Nightpaw wanted to do now was run and hide.

Flyingpaw licked her friend's ear comfortingly. She felt sorry for Nightpaw, but she did warn her about Jaypaw. "Don't worry, cats usually don't find a mate when their only apprentices. You'll find someone else." she assured her.

Nightpaw laid down and her snout between her paws and sighed looking up at the sky. She would be a warrior soon and Nightpaw hoped Flyingpaw was right. (lazy)

Flyingpaw nudged Nightpaw's shoulder with her nose. "Come on, lets get back to hunting, It'll get your mind off of it." she encouraged. She also didn't want the others to see and ask about it, it would only lead to awkward moments, and maybe even tears.

Nightpaw picked up her head and hauled her body up, taking a few unset steps forward she crept slowly across the landscape in search of prey, hearing a mouse she dropped into the hunters crouch and swiftly killed it with one easy swipe and a bit to finsh it off. (lazy again)

Flyingleaf followed suit, killing a vole and burrying it for later. Then she followed her nose with a sparrow singing on a branch, oblivious to the cat below who slipped up the tree. Once there, the she-cat told herself that she would climb more often because she couldn't climb up as easily as before. Then she crept up on the creature, camoflaged by the spots of light showing through the leaves, and leapt.
Feathers slid through her claws, and a flicker of pride flashed in her eyes before her stomach lurched and her back paws slid from under her... When she opened her eyes, having squeezed them shut in preperation for a breath taking fall, her claws were fastened in the bark of the branch, and she was dangling far above the ground.

Nightsong gasped as she watched her best friend tumble over the edge of some sort of gorge. "Flyingleaf!" she yowled as she rushed over to the gorge, "are you ok?!" she called down.
Her friend was caught on a branch/ root sticking out of the side about two feet down. "Flyingleaf i cant reach you!"

(sorry, I didn't make it very clear. Flyingleaf climbed a tree, caught a sparrow, but slipped and is now hanging from the branch she slipped on.)
"I'm fine for now," she called down from her precarious position, "I just hope I don't slip." Flyingleaf tried to pull herself up with her forepaws, and found it was like trying to push a tree out of the way- it won't budge. Then she tried to scoot her way over to the trunk. Her legs dangled beneeth her, reminding her of the long way she had to go if she slipped, and the trunk was a very long way away so it took a very long time to get there.
Flyingpaw finally reached her destination and slid to the ground, trembling. "Now I know how you felt, Night," she gulped. Just the prospect of falling all that way was terrifying.

(ok oops XP) Nightsong sighed a sigh of relief, "be more carefull next time, its hard to catch a falling cat!" She laughed and got back to hunting, parting her jaws and taking in the mouthwatering scent of rabbit. She had never caught a rabbit before and they were probably the hardest animal to kill in the forest due to their supperior hearing.
Dropping into a hunters crouch her paws bearly made a sound as she stalked towards the rabbit, its fawn fur blending in with a nearby tree that had begun to grow. She was about to get it, the wind began to change but that didnt stop Nightsong. Shifting her postion a bit she avioded a branch and prepared to pounce on the unknowing rabbit.

Flyingleaf nodded meekly and watched Nightsong stalk a rabbit. When the wind changed, she sank farther into the undergrowth in attempt to hide her scent so she wouldn't ruin Night's hunt. Rabbits were rare in the forest, they usually stayed in Fireclan territory, so hunting them was less practiced and harder to do. Night seemed determined to catch this one, and would bring home quite a feast if she succeeded. (do you like my new pic?)

(yeah looks awsome I think we lost grovepaw and hollowpaw) Bunching her hind leg mustles together she pounced sadly making the rabbit squeel before the fatal bite. The warm blood flowed into her mouth replenishing her want for something to eat. "Thats the best kill I've ever tasted!" she exclaimed, wanting to tear into it. But she knew she couldnt and picked up the heavy animal, having to drag it along, "Where should I put this bad-boy?" she mewed to Flyingleaf.

Flyingleaf looked around. "How about under that bush?" she said, walking over and began to dig a hole that was hopefully large enough for the rabbit.
"We'll have to move to somewhere else to hunt know, the rabbit's noise will have scared away the prey here." she advised, standing up.

Nightsong nodded setting the rabbit down lightly in the place Flyingleaf had dug out. She then cover it with dirt and leaves before going to look for another place to hunt, but the taste of the mouthwatering rabbit never left her mouth. (lazy)

Flyingleaf padded through the forrest, farther and farther away from where Nightsong had caught the rabbit. She wanted to find somewhere with lots of prey so they could come back with enough prey to feed a good amount of the clan. A large-rooted tree came into view, surrounded by bushes and ferns, the scent of prey clinging to the leaves and twigs. The cream colored cat motioned with her tail for Nightsong to come over.
"Is this good?" she whispered, trying not to scare the prey away with loud noises. The scent of a squirrel floated by, distracting her. She crouched down and pushed through the ferns, following the smell. The squirrel was flitting over the large tree roots, looking for food. She followed it, staying downwind all the while, and attempted to get close enough to the prey. The squirrel doubled back, and she leaped, just managing to swat it back to the ground when it tried to make an escape for the nearest branch. She sank her teeth in, quick and hard, while it lay on the ground in shock.
Flyingleaf padded back to Nightsong with the squirrel's fuzzy tail swinging beside her mouth. She laid it on the ground and meowed, "Sorry, I got a little carried away", appoligetically.
(I just realized that you put Flyingleaf down in ur best buddy list. ^.^)
