Makin' A Nest [Open- no more than 2 others]

[Barredpaw]

Barredpaw bounded through the entrance to the apprentice den, feeling more excited than he had ever been before. He was an apprentice now, and had a mentor, Anenomelight. Barredpaw had a feeling the Anenomelight would be an awesome mentor, and nice too.

The fluffy brown tabby stopped suddenly among the sea of nests, and wondered where he should set up his nest. He didn't want to intrude on anyone's private space, but he didn't know any other apprentices. Barredpaw glanced back at the entrance, hoping someone would come in and help him out. He was just a new apprentice, after all. He was just six moons old. Barredpaw wondered if anyone would like him, or if he would be good at training. He hoped Anenomelight wouldn't be too hard on him.

[Stormpaw]

Stormpaw walked into the apprentice den and looked around at all of the nests."Where should I set up my nest?"Stormpaw thought.

Stormpaw walked over to the big pile of moss in one of the corners of the den.He grabbed a mouth full of moss and layed it in a corner where no one was.He flated down his nest then layed in it.He finally saw the other apprentice."Hi"Stormpaw mewed.

[Barredpaw]

Barredpaw looked up sharply when someone came into the apprentice's den behind him. This cat was slightly smaller than him, so he must be new, like him. Barredpaw was big for an apprentice, but still... "Hi!" He answered the other cat. "Can I set up my nest right there?" Barredpaw pointed with his brown tabby tail to a spot still empty right next to the apprentice. "I'm Barredpaw. Who are you? And who is your mentor? Mine's Anemonelight, she's sooo cool!" He boasted, even though he knew nothing about Anenomelight.

Barredpaw went to collect some moss, just like the new cat. He grabbed it in his mouth and dragged it over to his chosen spot, next to the other apprentice.

[Leafpaw]

Leafpaw walked into the apprentice den after a hard day of hunting training it had been a sucsessful day. She smiled for herself and continued walking on to her nest that used to sit beside Ospreysoars the spot was now vacant but the one beside her was obviously not. She looked to get other side and spotted a brown tabby setting up his beside her's.

The tortoiseshell she-cat looked at both new apprentices with her orange/yellow like eyes. She smiled at both of the apprentices and hoped to make another friend. "Hello my name is Leafpaw welcome to the apprentice den." she said with a astonishing smile plastered on her face.

[Barredpaw]

Barredpaw smiled back at the new cat, wondering what she was so astonished about. "Hi, Leafpaw!" He mewed back at the tortoiseshell fae, who, judging from her smell, had been out hunting. "Have you been hunting, Leafpaw?" Barredpaw gasped. "What is it like? What did you catch? Did you catch anything? Wow, I've never been hunting before." He looked up at the slightly older apprentice with admiration glimmering in his own turquoise and blue eyes.

"Who is your mentor?" Barredpaw couldn't stop another question from slipping out of his mouth, even though he'd already asked four. He looked at the pretty colored fae, hoping that she wasn't offended or anything. Barredpaw was just so curious! Any cat would be on their first day as an apprentice.

Barredpaw lay down the moss in his jaws, spreading it out until it could fit his fluffy, oversized, brown tabby body. He glanced sheepishly at the other apprentice, Leafpaw, and then at all the other nests in the den. Barredpaw's was almost the biggest nest! He wished he was smaller, but what could he do? Except sleeking down his fur, there wasn't much he could do to make himself smaller than he was born to be.

Leafpaw looked at the apprentice beside her and smiled. This apprentice seemed very curious with the amounts of questions he was asking her. " Alright here we go, Yes, it was really fun and made me feel accomplished, mouse, yes and my mentor is Stonepit." She answered Barredpaw.
