I pad over and lay down next to you, my pelt brushing yours. "That's really sweet." I murmur, resting my head on your shoulder. "This place really is amazing..." I breathe.

Falconwing's pelt twitched and grew hot as Brightflame brushed his pelt against his. He purred as the medicine cat laid his head on the tabby's shoulder's.
"Thanks, I come here to relax when I need too," he meowed and turned his head to nibble onto Brightflame's ear, playfully.

I giggle, batting playfully at your side. "It's got a bunch of Tansy! I can't believe I never found it before." I say. I turn warm with embarrassment, "Erm, I-I'm sorry, I didn't mean to bring work into this, I've just spent too much time in my den." I ramble, flustered.

Falconwing laughed lightly.
"Oh, it's fine. Have you thought of getting an apprentice? If you need any help, I could try my paws at herbs. I mean, there will probably be alot of sick cats, but I can try and help you," he joked, purring and watching Brightflame.

I smile at you, "Yeah, I've thought about getting an apprentice. Wildstar only wants two Medicine Cats though, even though, to be quite honest, I'm the only one who does any work. Waterheart is always MIA." I sigh. "I would love to have you as a full apprentice, but at the moment I'm afraid you can only gather herbs." I say, looking down a bit sadly.

"No worries. Besides, I wouldn't be able to fit a medicine cat's life. I'm a fighter within. But, I won't mind collecting herbs with you. At least I will get to learn something new! I mean, I know how you feel. I've only had one apprentice and he disappeared," Falconwing mewed glumly, then perked up again. He nuzzled Brightflame's chin, trying to cheer him up.

I laugh, "Maybe you could teach me a bit about fighting then. I know some, because I was a warrior for a while, but I hate conflict." I nuzzle you back, "And I know that you won't always be there to protect me. You have a job as a warrior to protect the entire clan, so I understand. I have the job to heal the entire clan, but I can't do that if I get injured." I say softly.

Falconwing giggled lightly, smiling.
"No worries, I will always be at your side. Nothing will hurt you, not even if a bee stings you," he purred quietly, nuzzling Brightflame. It was so soothing to be at his best friend's side, sitting by trickling water, the sunshine beating gently on them.

I smile warmly, "Well I'm glad to have somebody like you with me." I purr, "You're a loyal friend, and I really appreciate that. I have a bit of a...problem trusting cats..." I say quietly, looking up at the blue sky and watching as a few puffy white clouds roll lazily across it.

Falconwing nuzzled his friend again, his tail tingling as he tried to twin it with Brightflame's somehow.
"And I must assume that you don't like talking about it," he purred, puttng a paw on the medicine cat's adorable paw.

I turn slightly warmer, but gladly twine my tail with your much fluffier one. "Well...people betray me a lot...I always think I know someone and then...they change..." I smile and look up at you, "But when I look into your eyes...all I can see is a wonderful tom I can trust..."

Falconwing felt his cheeks grow red, blushing from the comment.
"Well, I'll never change. The only time I will change is for you," he purred, barely able to get the words out. He was so choked up with emotion, that he could barely even think. The tom lowered his head, a smile plastered to his face.
