Lavenderpaw walked slowly into the apprentices den. She wondered where Flowerpaw and Blossomfur was? She had no friends now. She felt sad because of that. She sat down on a bed of moss that she usually slept on. She wished someone would be her friend. Everyone else had friends except for her. A small sigh came out of her mouth. Was it because she wasn't talkative? She didn't know what to do. Her eyes scanned around the den looking for someone to at least say hello to. "Hello?" She said.

Oriolepaw awoken to a bright mixture of yellow and orange blur. She heard rustling next to her. Finally blinking the last wisps of sleep that lingered in her eyes she spotted a beautiful long-haired she-cat. This apprentice was more of a new apprentice unlike Oriolepaw who soon would be a warrior. The tuxedo apprentice got up from her next and stretched herself out. Her blue orbs lye on the white she-cat. This apprentice had an unusual eye color that was a lavender. How unique... she thought to herself.
Looking closer Oriolepaw noticed that this she-cat looked depressed. More lonely actually. She heard a sigh leave the breath of the she-cat. Oriolepaw may as well say hello. She didn't really have any friends anymore. Her old friend when she was a very young apprentice was Nightpaw who is now a warrior and the apprentice has lost complete contact with her. The other day she met a brown tom named Cedarpaw. He was nice. Right now he was considered as her only friend.

Lavenderpaw eyes gleamed as she saw other apprentice. A small smile appeared on her face. Maybe she could become my friend, or it could turn out into a disaster and we will be enemies for a long period of time, or she could just be a normal clan mate to me and we only say hellos to each other. She got up from the soft moss and walked slowly towards the black and white she-cat. "Hi, my name is Lavenderpaw." She said a small smile still on her face. "But you could call me Lavender for short." She mewed.

Oriolepaw could guess even before the white she-cat had told her that her name is Lavenderpaw. "It's nice to meet you Lavender. My name is Oriolepaw." she told her happy that her name was getting around a bit more than before. She had become antisocial for almost all her apprenticehood because she wanted to focus on training. She had the strickest warrior of TreeClan for her mentor, Nettleflight. No sympathy was ever given by such a warrior. Of course the sourness wouldn't spread to her but all the strengths that Nettleflight has passed on would rub off on her for her future warriorhood. "Who is your mentor Lavenderpaw?" she asked her.

"My mentor is Nightsong." Lavenderpaw said with a small smile. Nightsong was pretty cool. She was really nice actually. "We just explored the clan boundaries yesterday. She's taking me hunting today." She said in an excited voice. She never tried hunting before, neither did she try battle training, but she always wanted to. "Have you ever went hunting before?" She asked. Well she was older so she probably did.

Oriolepaw smiled at the name that Lavenderpaw had told her as her mentor. "Nightsong eh? How is she doing? She was one of my best friends ever but then we kind of lost contact once she became a warrior." she meowed. The tuxedo apprentice smiled at how excited the she-cat was to learn. Someday she will have her own apprentice. Suddenly a question came up. "Hunting? Of course." she told her. "I'll be a warrior soon so maybe we could go on a hunting patrol once I'm a warrior together."

Lavenderpaw smiled a little at Oriolepaw. So she was friends with my mentor. "Nightsong is cool, she trains me well. She's really nice to me." She murmured. She listened to what she had to say. Hunting together? That would be cool. "Yeah, sure." She replied. "So do you have any other friends?" She asked. "I don't really know where my friends went. Blossomfur and Flowerpaw were my closest friends wen I was a kit, but know they've disappeared or something." She said sadly. "Now I have no one, well I don't know if Nightsong counts." She mewed.

Oriolepaw listened to how Nightsong was. Glad she turned out to be a great warrior. she thought. Then Lavenderpaw asked about her friends. "Well. I don't really have any at the moment. Yesterday I met Cedarpaw and he was nice but I think it's too soon to consider him a friend yet. Then I have Nightsong. You see, I've been focused on training lately since I have the strictest mentor of TreeClan. So I try to please her. All my old friends kind of disappeared." she explained to the white she-cat. She seemed pretty nice, possibly they'll be good friends one day.

Lavenderpaw nodded her head a little. "I met Cedarpaw once when we were kits. We played tag together, but I think he forgot about me or something. I don't know him that well." She said with a small smile. Her lavender colored eyes looked down to the floor, not knowing what to say next. She shuffled her paws a little. "Um, wanna do something?" She asked with a small smile.

Oriolepaw heard the question come up. "Sure." she meowed. "What should we do?" she asked. Oriolepaw was happy to meet another new cat. Hopefully she would adjust to the warriors very fast. Hopefully they were all welcoming to her. The last thing she wanted to deal with was stupid warrior show offs. If that was the case she would ripe their pelts off.

Lavender smiled as she said sure. "Um I'm not sure." She said trying to think of something to do. "Wanna play a game, or do what normal apprentices do?" She said. "I don't know." She said with a small laugh. She was clueless right now.

Oriolepaw thought for a moment. Suddenly a slow rumble sounded in her stomach. "How about we go get something to eat. I'm starving." she told her longing to get something to eat soon otherwise she would fall over. It felt like she hasn't eaten in moons.

Lavenderpaw nodded with a small smile. "Okay." She murmured. She walked outside of the den towards the fresh-kill pile. "Come on slow poke." She said with a small giggle. She grabbed a plumped vole from the giggle and then took a small bite out of the prey.

Oriolepaw came running and passed Lavenderpaw beating her to the fresh-kill pile. Picking up a thresh she found a nice padded spot and lye down starting to eat her prey in big gulps. Then she stopped in the middle of her feast. "So....have you had any thought about your warrior name yet?" she asked her. It was a normal question that lost was asked almost in every talk. Sometimes it was interesting to listen to the names what wonder minds could think of.

Lavender took another bite out of the vole. "Um, maybe Lavenderheart, Lavenderskies, Lavenderpetal, I'm not sure. How about you?" She asked. She was bad at making up names. She was bad at choosing things too. She took another bite of her vole and finally finished the prey.
