Who was this Pinepaw? Going into the territory alone with Dustypaw. Something made him want to rake his claws through that theiving tom. Extending his claws he looked at them glimmering in the sunlight. No. I won't make them bloody. Getting to his paws he shook of the thought and went looking around the den for Dustypaw, his head in the air and jaws parted. He hadn't talked to her in awhile, he had been training the past couple of days, "Dusty?" he called softly through the small den. He hoped she wasn't with that charming brown apprentice, he swore if he became her favorite-. Suddenly he was cut off by Dusty's smell wafting twards him as he turned to face her direction. (lol)

Her eyes fluttered open, blinking multiple times to keep away the blurriness. Dustypaw let out a fierce yawn as her best friend walked in calling for her. She waved her tail a him as she began to get up. "Good morning Cedar." She smiled at him, shaking her pelt to shake loose the moss that clung to her. She stretched out, the filtering sunlight making her squint. Straightening, she walked up to Cedar, "Anything you need me for?" She glanced back at her nest where her little blue feather lay, she sighed silently, praying for another good day, hopefully this time she could meet her mentor.

"So I heard you finally got your new mentor." he purred, "Ready to train, I'm hunting training right now and I'm sure you'll have fun training." Cedarpaw gave her a friendly shove and exited the apprentice den, "So what yiou up for doing today?" he mewed.

"Tangleflower." She said with a bit of happiness, she was still hoping she'd be able meet the gal. Maybe this time they'd actually get some training in. "I hope so." She said lowering her head as she ran out. The light was still pale, but it had a glare as dawn turned to sunhigh. "But I'm not sure. We can go look for more feathers, or maybe just play in the stream." She said gesturing with brown paw to the running stream that ran through the camp. It still wasn't too cold and the day would soon get hot anyways so why not?

"And get wet!?" he questioned, looking at his fluffy dry fur ruffled by the fall wind, "we would turn to ice!" He looked back at her blue eyes then mewed, "I guess we could try if you really want." He looked over at the water, flowing cold and fast, what if a kit fell in there? They would drown, it's so close to camp...

"What are you? A dry-paw?" she chided, tickling his nose with her tail. She came to stand by the river, peering in and looking at her rippling reflection. Same ol' blue eyes that seemed to never fade, same pointed muzzle and dark rosy nose. Her ears flicked as her eyes focused more and she saw tiny minnows darting in and out. She stepped in, her paws shining as she went into the water. she liked the water really, the cool tug at her paws edged her on and soon, she was floating in the stream. "Coming?" She giggled at Cedar as she struck a paw to the surface and splashed the tall tom.

Cedar sqeeked and hissed, "Ahh! Thats cold you fish!" as he jumped in after her and went under, he could feel the stones loose on the bottum and as he smacked into the small fish swimming around him. His head was on the surface now as he gasped for breath and got a foothold on the shore, and shook the water from his ears. His pelt now sparkling in the sun like a lost warrior of Cloudclan as the water droplets reflected the sun's light.

She giggled, watching him fall in and hopping out. "A fish I am then." She said smiling and taking in a breath before going down. Underneath the surface, small silver fish swam past her, their own scales glittering like Cedarpaw's had. Dusty swam further down, looking at the small shells and pebbles lining the bottom. Small bits if algae and moss clung to the botton. She struck a claw at it, her claw snagging at the miss and she tugged. Her feet pushed against the bottom of the stream and she broke the surface with a 'gasp'. Her paws caught hold of the shore and she hauled herself, along with the moss, onto the shore. Dustypaw shook her thin pelt dry, then stepped forward throwing the clump of moss at Cedar. "You really are adorable." She laughed, pushing her forehead against his chest.

Cedarpaw sneezed as the moss flew into his face and soddened it, "Ick!" he yowled spazing out on the ground and rubbing his face with his paws as he wipped it from his face. "Ew." Getting to his paws he turned his head twards Dusty, "You saw nothing." He turned all the way around and tackled her to the ground. "Nothing!" he purred, "I'm not a spaz." (That had no piont to it ....)

Force pushed her to the ground and she fell hard. Her back sent up a cloud of dust as the big apprentice pinned her. She felt her fur begin to flush and she squirmed beneath him. "I didn't say you were." Wrenching her oaw from beneath Cedar's death grip, she put against his chest, pushing up with all her might to lever him off her. "You badger, your crushing me!" She purred, kicking his stomach with her back legs.

Cedarpaw laughed and got off, licking down the fur on his chest that she had ruffled, then going to his paws to clean off the dirt that was sticking to his paws. "Now what do you want to do Dusty?" he mewed looking around the camp and looking for something interesting.

Dustypaw rolled onto her stomach in one quick motion. She looked up at the her friend, with a mischievous smile. "I want you to tell me what you were going to say the other day." She demanded, with a sly smirk. Dusty remembered the day well, the had played for a bit, then had somehow gotten to an important statement. And as Cedar was to tell her, he fell asleep. Not wanting to be rude, she had left him where he was, pulling more moss on him and leaving to go outside. That was when she hhad run into Pinepaw.

"Uh..." he paused, "Oh nothin specail." he looked at his paws feeling his fur grow hot inside his pelt, he couldn't tell Dusty, at least not yet, maybe when they were warriors. "I might tell you later." he purred putting on a nervous smile.

"Well it had to be something considering how your acting." She said, sitting down her eyes holding disbelief that it was 'nothing'. Dustypaw was getting the same vibe she was as the day she was with Pinepaw. Coindence?

"Um.." he could feel the uncomfort beween the two of them, he didn't like it, "How long are you willing to wait for me to tell you?" he asked, tilting his head and looking into her eyes, he thought he could see something in her eyes, but he wasn't sure what it is. She was going to find out sooner or later, maybe he would HAVE to tell her now.
