Otterpaw trotted into the apprentices' den, her chin held high, her coat fluffy and silky as usual. Now that she was finally an apprentice, she could see her friends again!
"Ooooh, Piiinepaaaw!" she called, waiting to see her best friend. It had been so long since they'd talked; they couldn't possibly have drifted, could they? Of course not! she thought, shaking her head clear, and replacing her blank face with a joyful smile.

He squealed as he lifted his head from the nest of which he slept in and looked around, finally catching her creamy brown and white fur. "OTTER!" He yowled, not caring of the other apprentices sleeping peacefully in their nests ... or atleast WERE until he screamed. He smiled happily.
"Get your fluffy body over here!" Yowled the tom sitting up.

Trotting over to the tom, she looked around. "So which nest should I choose? I don't even mind where it is; as long as it stays this roomy!" she said, and appreciated the room to stretch her legs without a younger kit stumbling under her paws.

Looking at Otterpaw he said "Do you not see the empty one next to me? I dragged it to here as soon as I saw you were named a apprentice!" he said with a squeal, all shorts of chills up his spine. "I. Have. My. Best. Friend. Back. But I do wonder, wheres Fallowpool?" he asked.

[OOH GURL.] "Well how can I resist!" she purred, and took a seat in the soft patch of moss. "Fallowpool? Hm.. where did he go?" she wondered. The tom hadn't been seen in ages; maybe he disappeared like a lot of the warriors. Such a shame; but since nobody really noticed, it might not be that big a deal. "Well wherever he is, he's missing a whole lot of fun!"
