Taintedpaw walked into the apprentice's den with a sigh. Her training hadn't started, and Kitepaw, her good friend, and her had the same mentor. Skywing, Kitepaw's father. Ever since the two were kits, Kitepaw had complained about Skywing. And now they both had him as a mentor. Great. Yet today, it was just for the two childhood friends, a day off and in the leaf bare sun.
Poking her head around the den in the late night, she whispered for Kitepaw, wanting to go out in the territory with him. "Kitepaw?"
