Lightningpaw now Lightningstrike walked into the warriors den. He was finally a warrior but he had left all his friends behind. He looked around the den the quickly backed out. I cant do this. He thought

Silverblaze was coming into the warriors den with a plump vole in her jaws. "Hey Wetsp-" she jumped as she ran into a cat. "New warrior?" she asked as she shook her fur and picked up the dropped vole. "Trust me," she gave her shoulder a quick grooming. "I was just as scared as you are when I first came."

I let out a purr and slid out of nowhere and sat next to Lightning.
"Calm it, she wont kill you. Cats like Tiger and Raven dont make it to their warrior ceremony."
My voice was light but eyes dark at the memory and I slid my claws out as I spoke the name of the horride she-cat.

Silverblaze nodded at the new cat. "Trust me, I am NOTHING like Tigerpaw. She hurt my apprentice while she was only a kit." She shuddered at the image of claw marks along Littlepaw's side. "I suppose that your new. All cats are like that when they first come." She gave out a little laughter at the cat. "And besides, why would I hurt you?" She shook her head. "Sorry, I forgot to introduce myself. I am Silverblaze, who are you?"

"I did too," Silverblaze purred, trying to comfort the new warrior. She thought about her best friend SIlkypaw. She didn't make it out of her apprenticeship. She shook the thought out of her head. "In fact, now that I think about it... I don't think I have many friends! Want to be my friend?" she asked.

"What's wrong this time?" Silverblaze asked. "Do you think that Ill hurt you? And warriors are nice, but don't be rude or they can be crankier than the elders." She thougt abou tit and said, "I bet that an annoyed warrior is as close to an elder as you can get! -Oh, and if you here a rumor that I never finished training, dont believe it. I just finished my training earlier than most."
