He went under and batted her belly then came up from under her and lifted her up onto his back

"Let's go." He said getting up and padding toward the tree. Bright was heavy but he had to show her he could do it. He touched the tree and sprinted back into the water with Bright still on his back. When they reached the spot they were in he put her down and smiled. "How was that?" He asked

"Yours will too." Brightrain replied. "You know, maybe we can put our nests together and same em'." Brightrain said, walking closer to Lightning until thier pelts mixed together.

He dragged his nest to hers and lay next to her. Their flanks touched and he loved the feeling it gave him. He licked her flank then his head got sore. Then his belly. Then he couldn't move at all. He knocked out and the last thing he remembered was his head Falling on his mates flank

Brightrain looked to her mate, smiling. He was the one for her. Sure, Hawkpaw wasn't her friend anymore, and she was a bit sad about that, but it was his choice to hate her or not. And she would respect that choice, besides, both of them had plenty of other friends to talk too. And Brightrain had Lightning.
