She purred and licked him back and swam onto the bank and lay on the bank, her tuxedo pelt gleaming in the sunshine

He climbed out after Shadefall, his own russet pelt dull with water. Making sure that he was a fair distance away from the she-cat, he gave himself a shake and water droplets flew everywhere.

She closed her eyes and purred. Her pelt glowed brighter as the sun hit her pelt.

He felt dry enough and walked over to Shadefall, who seemed quite a bit wet herself. Hey Shadefall. You should dry off, or you might catch a cold.

She looked at him. "Ok." She said walking away and shook her pelt out. She walked back to him and lay down in the shade her pelt now long and fluffy. "Join me." She purred

Thistleflame nodded and followed after the pretty she-cat into the shade. It was actually quite surprising that there was a shade at all, since it meant that there was a sun out. But he should feel glad for the sun at this time of year. The russet tom forgot his thoughts as he entered the shade, and laid down next to Shadefall.

She purred and licked his cheek again then laid her head on her paws

Thistleflame started purring as well, finding himself enjoying the company of this she-cat beside him. His jade green eyes glanced over at her, then back to the rushing river a long way in front of them.
