It felt like it had been forever since he had seen someone, much less his friends. The rust-colored apprentice was in his nest near the entrance of the den, as he surveyed the world. He hadn't even met his mentor yet - Nightfang hadn't even been at the ceremony, and Redpaw honestly had no idea what his mentor was supposed to look like.
He was somewhat doubting that he would ever be trained, and he would probably be stuck as an apprentice forever, watching other apprentices coming and going. Maybe he should ask for a new mentor. Redpaw slightly shrugged. RockClan was just about dead. He didn't think that anyone else would be a better mentor.
At last, he got up from his nest with a stretch, and a yawn. Maybe he should try to meet cats who actually did do something ... Might as well make use of the time that he had. He wasn't going anywhere anytime soon. Maybe he should try to get new friends, other than Willowfall, Foxpaw, and the others.

Echopaw woke to the sound of paws. The feisty she cat sat up. "Can't you be a bit quieter?" she hissed.

"Echopaw, can you not be so grouchy?" The black tom lifted his head from his paws, vision blurry as he blinked a coupe times, seeing two figures of furr and laid down again. His thoughts were stuck on his brother Tallshadow. Him and he played a lot together.. The thought of Shiverpaw haunted him though very much, she left. Disappeared so fast.. It was like a blink of an eye. Now it seemed like a dream that he would always remember. He missed his mother Sandleaf and the rest of his kit friends and his mentor. He didn't know what his next training session was. And Beaverpaw wanted to be organized with his thoughts, was a fail. He shut his eyes.. and saw a version as himself as a warrior.. It looked quite pleasant and him training his own apprentice!
Beaverpaw looked up again, he seen this cat and he looked familiar,"Wait a minute.. Echopaw he hardly made any noise." Beaverpaw sat up, licking his fur down as he was surprised. "Redpaw? Is that you?"

Can't you be a bit less sensitive to noise? He retorted, before a rather familiar voice also spoke out for him. He hadn't seen all the others in quite some while - Shiverleaf, Tallshadow, Beaverpaw, Willowfall, Foxpaw. They had all seemed to disappear. Disperse. Die ...
Redpaw slightly shook his head, trying to clear his thoughts of what had happened to his friends. RockClan had been like this before ... eerily lifeless ... and this time wasn't anything different. It was just that weird phase where everyone just seemed to disappear. But not Beaverpaw. Nor this she-cat who had so nicely asked him to shut up when he hadn't been making any noise at all.
Unless you counted being alive - but wasn't everyone doing that? Including herself. Eh. Some cats were just really stupid and had a hard time catching on to the rest of the world.
He broke out into a smile. He couldn't help it. It was so good to see somebody he knew, somebody who obviously wasn't dead. Both literally, and metaphorically. Do you think it's me? His tone had a sarcastic edge to it, but it was mean in a friendly manner. Ignoring the cream-colored she-cat who Beaverpaw had called Echopaw, he got up from his spot and walked over to Beaverpaw's nest.
Well ... how are you? He sat down, the black tip of his tail flicking back and forth. He had gotten over the overwhelming excitement of seeing one of the twins, and now there was only regular excitement. Which, saying so, wasn't much better. He was still pretty hyper.
The only thing that kept him from running around camp and shouting in joy was the fact that he was a bit self-conscious. Even if they weren't, he felt like there were 50 billion pairs of eyes all focused on him, judging him by what he did. It was an uneasy feeling, and he tended to sink into the shadows, like Willowfall, whenever he got the sensation. Which was a lot of the time. But that was beyond the point.
The point was that he was seeing Beaverpaw again. Even if it wasn't Foxpaw or Willowfall, it was sombody.

Echopaw sat up and blinked the sleep from her eyes. She let out a huge yawn and her beautiful voice rang out, "Wanna do somethin'?"

''Yes, I do believe its you.'' Beaverpaw let off a purr happily, him and his brother were getting along great these days and so is him and his mentor Dapplecloud. He often wondered about Redpaw's and his or anyone elses. It seems this was a great time to talk to this kit hood friend too. Glad he was still around, it made him have hope that more of their friends would come back. Shiverleaf was no where to be found, his brother was being.. Well a brother again and a few warriors too. So why didn't it cheer him up like so? Why did he still feel the sudden emptiness in his heart? Maybe cause of the raid that passed by.. His training wasn't complete that day fully. He felt like he failed as a Rockclanner. One who is suppose to fight along their clan. He seen some ok cats and Snakefang attending them but that was days ago. Now they all should be healing fine and Beaverpaw was happy about it..
Seeing Redpaw come over to him he responded,'' Better, getting better. Adjusting to new situations, how about you? Oh trainings good. How's your mentor?'' He continued purring and glanced to Echopaw,''That's Echopaw. She sounds fiesty but shes great afterwards.''He explained continously. '' Finally here!'' Beaverpaw exclaimed as he loojed back at his friend,''How you like it?'' Asking Redpaw curiously.

"You look familiar," Echopaw said after she greeted Beaverpaw. "Do I know you?"

Briarpaw padded into the den after wandering in the chill, dawn air. She stopped suddenly when she saw other apprentices. Great, just great..... she thought with resentment. She could obviously tell that she was the youngest and smallest here. And the last thing she needed was for yet another apprentice to tell her how small she was. She edged her way around them to try to get to her nest unseen. Her lovely tabby pelt didn't help her case much...plus her tri-colored eyes. But it seemed to working so far. Briarpaw continued to edge her way around the apprentices until she ran flat into a black tom who was...a lot bigger. But sometimes smaller is better[/b] she told herself. He's kind of cute..... she thought while looking at him. But before he could turn around she tried to back away.

Sweetpaw walked into the apprentice's den, and looked at Redpaw.
