Shineheart sat up, grooming the bits of sand from her fur,"Actually that's a great idea Silverblaze!" She meowed, grooming the last of sand from her long fur.

"So, are y'all ready to go hunt?" Arrowstone asked as she changed her weight from paw to paw impatiently, excited to hunt.

"Me too," SIlverblaze declared. Her paws itched to feel the soft undergrowth beneath layers of snow, and the harsh wind blowing against her fur. She felt unique in the mountains, lik eno other Clan could handle what her Clan could. But here, she was just another warrior fighting the heat and dry expanse.

"Alright! Then let's go!" Arrow exclaimed excitedly as she padded towards a small clump of trees and bushes. It definitely wasn't as big as the forests in the mountains, but it was enough to find prey for the clan.

"Thunderstriped has ordered patrols of warriors to go and train in the land of sun," Silverblaze commented as she padded out of the camp."I just hope it pays off." Silverblaze was born a hunter and the slightest movement would catch her attention. A small mouse shot from a burrow and Silverblaze's paw instinctively kille dit in a swift blow.

"Nice job," she whispered as she saw the flick of a shrew's tail disappear beneath some yellowish-brown leaves. Stealthily, Arrow crawled over to the leaves and bashed down on them to send them flying wildly, desperately trying to get back to their siblings on the sandy-dirt ground. Arrow had broken the shrew's tail, dazing it as it just stood there looking around aimlessly. She looked at it for a moment and then quickly bit it to end its short life span.
