The cinnamon tom blinked his warm green eyes, wondering if he would ever fall asleep. He taken a nap after training, and frankly, wasn't very tired. He rolled over in his mossy nest, his paws warm. He stretched out a furry paw, his claws flexing. He removed his other limbs and padded out of the den. The moonlight shone icily on his red brown pelt, the silver illumination shifting with his black stripes. He sat on a raised area of cool soil and observed the camp. The whole clan seemed to be asleep, breathing as one. A cool wind ruffled his fur, and he shivered. His eyes took to the moon and he was mesmerized by it. A twig cracked, probably a deer or something, but it did make him look around, where he saw a cat emerging from the den.

color-white]It was none other than Irispaw, she still had to make her nest. But she didn't have any idea where. She wasn't a very poplar cat, so she didn't have any apprentice friends. She scanned the room, when she saw a cinnamon colored cat. Who she saw had swung his head around to look at her. She looked for a moment, that went back to looking for somewhere to put her nest. Redpaw nearly choked when she ignored him. He wasn't that scary, was he? "Hey," He called softly to younger she-cat, trying not to wake the entire camp. He recognized her as one of Littlepool's kits, which made her of his little sisters. Oh my gosh, she's adorable. But he knew better than to let THAT comment seep into his face or his words. "Come here. Do you need help with anything?" He called instead, wanting to know her better.

sedgepaw cocked her head as the cats moved around. she lifted her peach fuzzed face to look at the apprentices, her blue eyes piercing through the darkness. " hello? " came her loud whisper.

Irispaw turned, she shook her head to the cinnamon tom. "I'm just looking for a place to put my nest as of right now" waving the moss that was in her jaws up. It made her words sound more like 'i'mjustlookaforplacetoputmynesofrightanowa'
When she hard a sound 'hello' a cat had said. Irispaw turned to look.

Redpaw sighed, knowing pride when he saw it, "Here." He stood up, his long tail curling. He padded quietly into the apprentices' den, the sleeping cats like bombs waiting to be set off. Suddenly, a pair of blue eyes flicked open, like two flashlights in the darkness. He smiled, his fangs like ivory, but didn't know what to say. Continuing, he stepped carefully not to wake the others. He beckoned for Iriskit to follow, making his way to his own nest. Nightstalker's former bedding lay unused about a rabbit-length away. He gathered the remains up into a ball, "You can put it here if you like." He whispered, turning to see if Irispaw was behind him.

She smiled at the tom "Thanks....Um...Your name?" She asked. She had never met the tom before, but he seemed nice. And maybe someone that would train with her. Everyone always thought she was weird training all day. They would rather talk, at least thats the she-cats. And Irispaw couldn't stand it. She didn't mind talking some of the time, but thats all they ever wanted to do. She preferred climbing trees much much more.

"Redpaw." He answered flatly. He pulled out the moss with his teeth, gathering it with his paws. When he was finished, he inspected his handiwork for a minute, before turning to the cute grey tabby, "There. You got any fresh moss?"

She nodded, laying down the moss. "Nice to meet you Redpaw, I'm Irispaw" she nodded to the redish, ginger apprentice. "Thank you for helping me" she said with a smile to the tom.

Sagekit awoke from the nursery. She had been sleeping there too long. It was about time that she got here ceremony already. She pricked her ears and listened to what was happening around the camp (my cat has really good hearing, not a power though). She heard two apprentice's talking. "Maybe I could be their friends.", she murmured under her breath. "When I move out of the nursery all of my friends will be gone.", she sighed miserably. Sagekit stretched and padded out into the clearing. She saw the two cats chatting near their den. "Hi! My name is Sagekit, but I am about I become an apprentice, can I be your friends?", she said nicely, hoping that he didn't have even a hint of rudeness in her voice.

"Welcome meh little Irisaur." He replied. He was about to say something else when he heard a voice in the den. The small kitten seemed like a squirrel in the entrance. She seemed small for her age yet she seemed old enough to be an apprentice. He shrugged, Why not? "Well Sagisaurus Sagekit, I'll be moving outta here pretty soon but you're welcome to hang out if you're quiet." He meant he wouldn't tell the kit's mother, "You can call me Redpaw and this is Irispaw." He swished his tail toward the she-cat, "I would say you would get along beautifully, but I just met her so I honestly can't say."

"Sure? Thanks!", she said happily. "And I got my ceremony earlier so now I can make a nest here and everything," she meowed again.

[Redclaw]

"Well than consider it said and done, we're best buds now." He said, "Do ya need some moss?"

[Sageleaf]

No thanks, I already made my nest over there in the corner with thunder paw and pinepaw. I like Pibepaw ", she said happily.

Called it. "Good then you're all set huh." Redpaw had long known that as soon as Pinepaw moved to the apprentice's den the she-cats would create a dog-pile, with him on the bottom. They would squeeze the life out of him, until he made his decision, or even no decision at all. He grinned, as soon as the term "more than a friend" hit him in the head like a bowling ball, "You mean as a crush?" He asked blankly, the idea an alien to him. He honestly didn't care how many she-cats Pinepaw had chasing after him. He was happy because once they got married, they would be added to his empire Pinepaw was one of his best friends and Redpaw was truthfully happy for him.
