Well it was about time. Pinepaw strolled into the apprentice den for the first time, his deep, olive eyes taking in everything they lay upon. He didn't know where Thunderpaw and the others had disappeared off to, but it didn't matter. This was his time for exploration and settling down. This was his den now, he'd never sleep in the nursery again. Or perhaps....hmmm. No.
The brown and white tom swiveled his head around, a smile unconsciously beaming across his face. He wanted to meet apprentices and find a place to sleep. Scratch that, he wanted to train, actually. He was lucky to have one of his closest friends as his mentor, training with Blackpelt was sure to be another great adventure all its own. For now, he was looking for Redpaw, who had become an apprentice before him. Then again, he'd be happy to meet anyone.
"Hey now, where is everyone?" He shouted into the den, a smile creeping back on his angled face.

"Hi!", said a she-cat. "I just became an apprentice and I made my nest over there." She pointed her tail towards the corner of the den. "Do you want to sleep with me?", she asked slowly. "I just became an apprentice to, so I know how you feel. Aren't you the one that I was playing warriors with earlier in the nursery?", she asked.

Thunderpaw was walking around the clearing after her ceremony lost in thought. She wonder about many things. How was her training go? Would her mentor like her in the end? Would she make more friends in her new den? Did Pinepaw still want to be her friend? Where is Pinepaw? Thunderpaw raised her head since it was lowered towards the ground. Her light green eyes searched the clearing for his brown and white pelt, but had no luck. The she-cat let out a long sigh, she had really no friends, but meet many other cats. It was as if she was being left behind. Letting out another long and painful sight, the new apprentice started towards the apprentice den.
Slipping inside she perked her ears to the voices that she heard. One of the voices belonged to Pinepaw, her only friend, the other to a she-cat she had meet before who went by the name Sagekit, who was now a paw since she was in this den. Raising her head her green orbs rested upon the familiar long brown and white pelt of Pinekit and the not so familiar pelt of Sagepaw. Thunderpaw had entered the den as Sagepaw was finishing her sentence on how she knew Pinepaw. Shock was placed on her face, it was either poor memory or she knew to many faces that she could not keep track.
Thunderpaw wondered if she should stay out of their conversation or enter it. Choosing to stay out she lowered her head, he brown bangs falling in front of her left eye. Picking up some green moss at the entrance of the den she made her way to a corner in the front of the den, close to the entrance. Placing it on the ground she started to spread it out and form it into a nest.

(don't forget to change your name to a paw Sagepaw saw a new apprentice. "Hey Thunderpaw! I just remembered something! All three of us used to play together in the nursery, remember! We could all build nests together!", she said excitedly. "What do you think?", she asked, bright blue eyes shining.

Pinepaw cocked his head as Sagepaw popped up in front of him. Well, so much for new faces. Still, the tom smiled politely and nodded a welcome, a purr in his throat. "Yes, I remember you Sagepaw. Congratulations on becoming an apprentice." She had, had her ceremony at the same time as them, after all. Just as he was about to reply to her next statement, a familiar scent tingled his nose, and Pinepaw looked around. It smelled like orange and chocolate, tangy and sweet. Thunderpaw.
A grin broke out onto his face as he recognized the striped she-cat. He excused himself from conversation with Sagepaw with a polite nod before leaping over in haste. "Thunderpaw! What are you doing all the way in the corner? Didn't you see me? I didn't do something wrong, did I?" He fretted, anxious olive eyes searching her lighter green ones. Flicking his ears around as he heard Sagepaw's next excited comment, he shrugged slightly. He had wanted to nest with some new cats as well as old, but she sounded so darn up-beat about it, and it would be rude to refuse. But then, it wasn't completely up to him, still, he wasn't heart-less or cowardly enough to place the full decision in Thunderpaw's paws. "Well? What do you think, Thunderpaw?" He asked, voice tinged with slight resignation. As long as he was beside Thunderpaw and some friends, it would be fine.

Thunderpaw perked her ears as she heard her name being called from behind her. It was Sagepaw who called her name first. Turning her head she looked over her shoulder towards the two. As she did, it was not Sagepaw who was approaching her, but Pinepaw. That warm expression that made her feel at ease and those olive eyes shown such bright light it made her smile with joy. Turning her body so it faced him she smiled at him with her normal cheerful sweet smile. Looking at his face she could tell her actions had made him worry about their relationship, but what he was reading from it was all wrong. "No!I saw you were speaking with Sagepaw and I didn't wish to interrupt because I thought that would be very rude. As for my nest..." Thunderpaw looked over her shoulder towards her pathetic nest that still needed work. "Well, I didn't know where your nest was and I don't really have anyone else to sleep by so I was just going to put it in the corner out of the way for the larger groups of apprentices that would need room for their nests."
Thunderpaw looked at Sagepaw and then Pinepaw as the question of where their nest should be placed fell upon her. Ears lowered Thunderpaw brought her tail to her muzzle and gentle began to nipple on it to help ease her nervousness at the moment. "Well... um.." Thunderpaw wanted to be by Pinepaw, but he was so popular and cool that many cats would want to be around him making it hard for Thunderpaw to be around. She was so shy around new faces or those she didn't feel comfortable by. Thunderpaw hesitated on an answer for she feared what the outcome would be, but she couldn't say no, not to Sagepaw who seemed to be so excited for a yes. Looking up at Pinepaw with her left eye covered by her bangs she spoke with a soft voice, "We can go by Sagepaw."

[Heyo~! Minnowpaw used to be Wolfpaw, but he underwent a quick gender/persona change FYI. And, umm... you don't mind if I join, right?] "I hate to burst your bubble, but there are other things in the world besides your egos," a brittle voice broke in. Minnowpaw sat casually in front of the two cats blocking her way, licking a paw with a raised brow. Her long, thin tail snaked over her other paws, curling neatly by her nest. Her cerulean-blue orbs stared daggers are the two "friends," and she smirked with a contemptuous glance at Sagepaw.
With a sigh, the tiny white femme snuffed out her bravado, scolding herself for making more enemies. "I'm sorry," she huffed quietly, and with a last-ditch effort at humor, added, "I guess my 'old age' is catching up with me." With a hint of a smile, she tagged on another sentence to her speech. "I'm Minnowpaw... and, umm... hey Sagepaw."

"That's just Minnowpaw, the Rudy. Just ignore her ad she'll go away." She spat. (Hey pine paw could you just make this thread for pinpaw, me, and Thunderkit? Thx) "well, for now let's just start making our nests!"

Redpaw shot up in his nest, similar to a rigid board on two frozen popsicles, and banged his head in the process. "Ow." He crumpled to the ground, rolling over hurt, yet happy from his nest into their pack, "MEH MINION!" He said, trying to keep his voice from sounding overly-excited. He wanted to bounce up and down, and squeal like a girl but he kept his limbs like a squirrel hit on road, and a happy, yet crazed expression on his face, like a squirrel that just took some serious pain-killer.
Despite this, his eyes flicked sharply to Sagepaw, "DON'T SPEAK TO MY FLUFFILCLE SQUIRREL-ETEERS LIKE THAT." He muttered, still dazed. The ginger she-cat had a habit of pressing his buttons, especially when she insulted Minnowpaw. I mean, sure maybe the flufficaly Minnowsota Bear hadn't been particularly nice to her, but if you sit on her nest, what does she expect? Hugs and kisses? And most of all, she shouldn't be judging ANYONE before they knew their story. He didn't care if he was embarrassing anyone, Minnow or PIne, because in all honesty, they deserved it, and he was King so they were gonna have to deal.
Completely over the subject, he glanced at Pinepaw and raised a paw for silence, "Sup dude. Where ya been?"

Pinepaw gave Thunderpaw a pleased and comforting nod of thanks. "That'll be great! Don't worry, you can put your nest next to mine, Thunderpaw." He promised, eyes sparkling with delight. Now no one could be unhappy, that was much better. He was interrupted by another drawling, rude voice. The tom twisted his head around to see another, older she-cat, who clearly had nothing better to do except insult new apprentices. Well, whatever. It wasn't like her words meant anything to him. He merely gave the she-cat a polite nod of greeting. "Pinepaw. Nice to make your acquaintance." He introduced himself simply.
"REDPAW OH-MAH-GAWD KING SQUIRREL NUTS!" Pinepaw suddenly shrieked, his tail fluffing out to twice its size and sticking up like a tree on which a squirrel may or may not climb. Redpaw, or Redkit back then, had been an old part of his life that he hadn't seen for ages. The time of Blackit, Redkit and Pinekit before Pinekit had gone inactive stuck his head into the dirt and ignored the world for a few months. With a last polite smile to Thunderpaw and the others, he barreled off towards Redpaw with a vengeance, launching himself into the tom's muscular, kingly arms. "Squirrel King! Squirrel King! I've missed chu!!!"

(I literally started waving my arms about and making baby noises when I saw you replied. XD)
Finally, Pinepaw noticed him, "OH ME TOO. HOW COULD YOU." If Redpaw hadn't been such a soppy King of Squirrel, he would've made him go out with Squirrel-Ette do everyone's chores for a moon, and match-make all the couples, but he was just to glad to see 'im, "Welcome back to the Guard. I would make ya, eh.... Wash the plates; but how bout let's just.... Bang the Drums." He whispered, before gently releasing him. He looked about them, before half-whispering "Bring out the acorn wine..."

"I am sorry about what I said to Willowpaw, she just hasn't been nice to me well.. Ever, even when she was a kit. Maybe we could be friends? You like Willowpaw and I like pinepaw so that would work out perfectly. So, what do you think?", she asked.

Blackpelt wanted to visit some of her apprentice friends. She ducked her head into the apprentice's den, and instantly spotted Minnow, Pine, and Red. SQUIRREL KING! SQUIRREL-TEER!!! MINNNOOOOW! she yowled happily racing over, a silly grin on her face.
