Two Confessions [redpaw/private]

Cerulean-blue orbs peered out of the apprentices' den as Minnowpaw scanned the camp with a bored expression plastered permanently on her tiny face. Randomness ran through her head and she shook her white fur to rid herself of mind-wandering. 'I knew you were trouble when you walked in... don't stop. Believing... girl put your records on... just give me a reason, just a little bit's enough.' The pale she-cat's brain short circuited for the hundredth time, and she rolled her eyes are herself. 'Some fierce apprentice you are,' she reprimanded herself, flicking a nicked ear, batting away flies viscously. Hastily scanning the camp for a distraction, the small femme yelled, "Hey!"

Redpaw's eyes flicked towards the she-cat. Minnow. He hadn't seen Minnow around lately and the pale femme roused his curiosity. He was secretly wondering how her training was going, as his was taking a long time. Maybe he wouldn't be the last one in the Apprentice's Den. Maybe I'm just stupid or something. He rose from his nest and plopped sympathetically beside her, "Sup, deary, how's life?"

"Goo--" Min started on the standard response, but then thought on it a while. "Well, not really. My self-esteem hit rock bottom, as well as my training. You?" She tactfully turned the conversation to Redpaw because boys love to talk about themselves. With a swish of her long, thin tail, the apprentice examined a paw, pretending to have a thorn stuck in her pad. She ran her sand-papery tongue over the rough surface a few times and placed it gently back in the grass, a soft breeze caressing her silky fur.

"I'm nearly done with my assessments." He replied smugly, "But you should keep going? Which unit of training are you on?"
