Sagepaw pads into the nursery, coughing. "Waspwing, Fernpelt!", are you guys there?", cough, cough. "I think I'm sick!", cough cough.

Waspwing sighed as he heard the dreaded coughing. While Sagepaw claimed to be sick, which was fairly obvious, he grabbed some catnip. Usually he would try any other coughing remedy, but with herbs being so plentiful right now he didn't even care.
He pushed the herbs over to the aging apprentice, and turned back to his store. "Eat that. Don't worry, it tastes good. Probably the best tasting herb I'll ever get." He said, not even bothering to sound enthusiastic.
He could deal with so many injuries, belly aches, poison eating and damage to sight or hearing. But he despised coughing most of all. Mainly because mot cats didn't even have the decency to turn their head when coughing, which then spread their cold even farther.
He dipped some moss in a small puddle near the den's entrance and rolled that over to Sagepaw as well. "Drink that." He mumbled, sitting down next to her. "I can't tell if it's serious or not yet. It's almost Green-leaf, so I would doubt it's anything like Green-cough, or Black-cough. But I want you to sleep in this den tonight. If your coughing is better by tomorrow I'll let you resume your training. But for today, take a rest." He ordered, walking back to his nest.
"And for Cloudclan's sake, turn your head to the side or something when you cough. I'd rather you not infect the rest of the Clan with your little cold." He muttered.

"Yes Waspwing.", she said obediently. *cough, she turned her head, cough, cough) she then ate the herbs that she was given and drank the water from the moss. *cough, cough, she turned her head, cough, cough* "Waspwing, I think that it is getting worse.", she said. *she turned her head, cough, cough*

Waspwing rolled his eyes and simply shook his head. "It's only been a moment. Don't judge it too quickly." He muttered, sorting some herbs. "The herbs will take a while to come into effect, so for now I would probably suggest you try and take a nap or something." He said quietly, beginning to count the number of tansy leaves he had in stock.

"Alright Waspwing.", she said and rolled over and fell asleep, her breathing fast, in a wheesing manner.
