Spokenpaw had been bored for days. Arcane hadn't even trained her yet! How was she supposed to become a warrior if her mentor didn't even train her?! Alot of Spokenpaw's friends had become warriors and moved on. She was still stuck here. 'I hope I'll become a warrior soon and see my old friends,' she thought, more sadness than hope. Then, her unusual navy blue eyes flickered up to see an apprentice who had padded up to her.
(so sorry i was gone for so looooong!!! was in Florida for 13 days w/out computer! X( )

Forestpaw was new in the apprentices den.He was really excited to be a aprentice but he tryed not to be to excited.He walked in the apprentices den

Spokenpaw got up stiffly after lying down for so long. After stretching her stiff limbs and yawning, she introduced herself, mouthing, "Hello. My name is Spokenpaw. I can't speak because I'm deaf." Spokenpaw smiled at the apprentice. "Who might you be?"

(i know! makes me so sad!  hoping to get her for a mentor) "Mossypaw!" Spokenpaw mouthed with a smile. "Yes, it has been a long time. So nice to see you again! How have you been?" Spokenpaw tried to contain her excitement and mouth her words slowly. She was just so happy to one of her old friends that hadn't become a warrior yet. |

"Sorry I kinda walked away before you answered me. I just haven't seen Mossypaw for a while!" she apologized. Spokenpaw looked back to Mossypaw for an answer to her previous question. |

Silverpaw was watching these other apprentices talking. She padded up to them. "Hi Forestpaw!", she mouthed to her old friend. She didn't recognize this other cat, but she liked to meet new friends. She turned to the other cat. "My name is Silverpaw and I am deaf.", she explained. "Who are you? Do you want to be friends?", she asked.

"Hey guys, what are you doing?" She had been in the mood to make friends yesterday, but today, she was as scared as ever. She felt most comfortable here, where she knew everybody. Except Mossypaw, that was, but Mossypaw was usually polite if not friendly.

"Oh really?" Her ears perked up and turned forward almost automatically. "About what?" Forestpaw had gotten her attention now and she was unable to quell her curiosity.

(will b gone 4 another week and may not have computer!  ) Spokenpaw was about to say something when another apprentice came up. 'She just mouthed words...' Spokenpaw thought unbelievingly. 'She's deaf just like me!!!!' Spokenpaw smiled a huge grin. "Hi, Silverpaw!" Spoken mouthed excitedly. "I'm deaf, too!" Spokenpaw was so excited that she didn't even notice her friend Kestrelpaw come up. |
