Dustpaw finally decided to settle into the apprentice's den. He put down the piece of moss that he was carrying and made it into a nest-looking blob. He pushed it until it was near the corner of the den. It didn't look like anyone had already taken that spot.

He looked around to see if anyone he knew was around or awake.

Stripe was still sleeping behind the den but she had a little peep hole where she could see what was going on in the den. Seeing Dustpaw she purred. "Dust. Over here." She meowed and kept her blue eyes on him making his nest. She gave a giggle as she saw it as a blob. "Come on." She purred

Dustpaw blushed slightly and went over to Stripepaw with his blob of a nest. Hi Stripepaw. he mewled softly.

She purred and licked his cheek through the the hole. "Come out here. You can sleep next to me. Out here its nice and cool. And we can share a nest to. It will be fun." She purred with a smile. "Come on. It will be just us." She whispered to him.

Okay... I'll just have my nest here just in case. Dustpaw said awkwardly. He didn't really know about sharing nests with Stripepaw. It seemed awkward in a way. He moved his nest closer to hers and sat back down in it. He needed to be in his own nest at the moment.

She watched as he moved his nest towards the hole. Well that was fine. For now. You seem down my friend. What's wrong? She asked him with a worried glance as she tried to make the hole bigger. He had saved her so she wanted to do something in return. She prodded him with a gental paw. You can tell me anything She meowed to him softly.

Tinypaw padded into the den. "Hi." She mewed, her tail flicking.

Silverpaw saw some cats talking. She didn't recognize any of them, and decided that it was time for her shy self to make friends. She padded up to the three cats and said, "Hey guys. My name is Silverpaw and I am deaf, so that is why I mouth things. If you can't understand me, I'm sorry.", she mouthed with a smile. "My mentor is Antfur and my mother is Leopardfire. Who are you guys?", she asked with a warm smile.

Dustpaw looked over at two other apprentices. Hello... My name's Dustpaw. He looked over at the silver she-kit and remembered her from when they where kits. He smiled.

"I guess me and Dust just can't have a conversation alone anymore with these annoying furballs invading our space." She mumbled and put on a fake smile. "Well then I guess we are sisters Silverpaw because my mother is leopardfire to." She mowed and tipped her head to the side. "Oh sorry, I'm Stripepaw. Daughter of Leopardfire and apprentice to Windsong. She haven't even started my training tho so....." She trailed off and looked down at her paws

Suddenly remembering, se said, "oh sorry, I remember now! We played in the nursery a lot, right?", she asked. "Sorry about that.", she apologized. "My mind seemed to go completely blank for a moment, it just seems like it was so long ago when I was playing in the nursery as a kit, laughing, playing, and enjoying our lives while we could. We always dreamed of being warriors, but now that I look back on it, the next time that we will get freedom like that is when we are elders....", she mouthed, thinking.

XD while I was responding to his post, you posted.

"Hi Stripepaw!", she mouthed with a smile. "Yeah, I guess we are related, I never would have guessed. We look so different, could you have ever imagined?"

Dustpaw nodded in understanding. So... What have you been doing? he asked his old friend. He wanted to catch up with her.

"Nothing really lately.", se mouthed in reply. "Reuniting with Kestrelpaw was fun, until she became Kestrelwing, a warrior. Ten no one really talked to me. I just focused on trying to be more social and keep up with the my training, no one wants to fall behind. That is pretty much all I can do for now.", she mouthed.

Stripe quickly saw that they were having a small reunion together so she started to back away and curled up in her nest. "So much for talking alone." She whispered and closed her eyes

I see... Dustpaw said to Silverpaw, not knowing what to say. What about you? he asked the other apprentice, the one he didn't know.
