Shredthorn wandered on out of his den and hopped to see Rosepaw. It had been a bit sense they had spoken. The tabby grey tom padded on over to the apprentices den with a smile. Rosepaw? You here? I want to talk, and maybe go on a walk or something. He said and shuffled his paws in his mind.

Rosepaw glanced up from her nest, Shredthorn, she had almost given up the fact that they would ever be more then friends, but that would change nothing. He always visited her from time to time. Now here he was again. Jumping to her paws she raced over to him. "Hi buddy!" Rosepaw purred happily. She nuzzled his and swatted at his ear with a happy smile.

Shredthorn smiled as he saw Rosepaw and purred as she nudged him. Hey Rosepaw! Do you want to head out to the territory? Maybe for a walk? He offered. There was some things on his mind that he wanted to say.

"A walk would be lovely, want to go now? It's a beautiful day." She mewed licking his cheek happily. He was one of her best friends and she really cared for him, maybe even more than a "just friend" should have.

He nodded with a smile. Yes, and it is a wonderful day. Shredthorn said, and began to walk on out of the den but paid attention if she was following or no. So, how are you? He asked, and thoughts poured across his mind.

Rosepaw followed Shredthorn, staying a few tail-lengths from his side. "I am good, not too bad at all. How have you been? Anything new happening?" She mewed. He seemed sorta distant and she felt pretty worried but she just shrugged it off.

Shredthorn smiled as he snapped back to the scene. Ah, I suppose it's been well with me. My brother Fangheart got a mate as soon as he got his ceremony. He added silently. Well, I see that you are ready for your ceremony. Are you excited? Finnaly able to get out of the apprentices den? He said with a purr. Shredthorn remembered the day he got his warrior name. It was the best moment for him, well, that he was done with apprentice duties.

"Heck yeah I'm ready!" She purred happily snuggling against Shedthorn's chest with happiness, she would be a Warrior soom, she hoped by then her and Shed would become a "thing".
