He bowed his head back to Hawbreeze. You too. He mewed politely. When he heard Leo's story, his face sunk. Oh, that's too bad... Was all he could say. He had really loved his group, and knowing that some of them were missing was very sad. That's how Leo must have felt about him.

Oh, um, so... How do you two know each other? He asked. It seemed like something was going on between him, and he was just as curious. It seemed there was a tension between the two.

Wolfshadow glanced over at Leopardripple. He wasn't aware she had a mate. Of course they just reunited though, and he was glad that Leo was happy. Oh, well... Congrats~ He mewed to them with a smile. He wasn't so big on the whole 'having a mate' idea, but he knew it made others happy. They had probably been mates for a while now, but it was never to late to congratulate someone, well, at least that's what he thought.

Hawkbreeze nodded his thanks to Wolfshadow.

"Thank you. So, you've obviously known Leopardripple for a while, huh? Since apprentice hood, I believe? She talks about it whenever she gets a chance."

So far so good .. Leopardripple sat back and stared at the two. But this was still horribly awkward for the senior warrior, she whimpered and lay her ears to her skull.

He wondered why Leo was acting so weird if this tom was her mate, but he pushed the thought aside to answer his question. Yeah, we do. Leo, Jay and I have been best friends since apprentice hood, along with a few other cats. He explained.

It was really starting to down on him that Ghostpaw and Skypaw probably wouldn't come back. And even though he and Ghostpaw had left sort of on the wrong foot, he would give anything for them to come back. There was no sign of Treasurehunt, even though Leo said she was around, so he would have to look for her later.

So, how long have you and Leo known each other? He asked. He was sincerely trying to be friendly.

"I believe we first met when I was an apprentice, thanks to Snakeclaw."

Oh, right... Wolfshadow wasn't sure who Snakeclaw was, and this must have been when he wasn't here, because he figured Leo would tell him about one of her crushes... Now that he thought about it, he didn't really feel in place with all of the other Fireclan members... He felt like he had just stabbed everyone in the back.

He shifted his paw's uncomfortably, and looked down for a minute before returning his gaze to him. So, um... If you'll excuse me, I should probably find a new place to sleep. He didn't really feel like talking anymore as a sickening feeling had entered his stomach, probably from nerves. He shuffled away from the two and looked around for an opening, letting the two talk among themselves.
