Moonpool's orders...

[Darkenedsky]

Darkenedsky promised Moonpool that she would go to the medicine cat den to see if she was sick or not. She had lost her appetite and she was coughing. It could be anything. She didn't think it was early stages of Greencough or Whitecough but you never knew. Waspwing, Fernpelt, she meowed in her usual dark tone but she also had a respectable tone in as well.

Waspwing glanced up from his nest, muzzle coated in the blood from his fresh meal. With an annoyed sigh, he got to his paws and walked over to Darkenedsky. "Yes, what is it?" He asked irritably.

Darkenedsky saw how irritated Waspwing was. She blinked her blue eyes. Um I'm sorry...but I guess I'll give the short of it. I've lost all my appetite and I've coughing a lot, she meowed quietly and horsely. Moonpool told me to come see you when he saw me earlier... she meowed trailing off a little.

Waspwing blinked at the she-cat. For a moment he just stood there, staring at her, as if she had drool hanging from her jaws. Finally he sighed and padded over to his stash of herbs. He grabbed some Chickweed leaves and placed them in front of Darkenedsky. "This should treat the coughing." He mumbled, padding back a few paces. "Your loss of appetite isn't something I get commonly, not as an illness." He explained, sitting down. "Cats generally lose their appetite after they're sick, usually when they vomit. But I also see it in cats who are extremely depressed, and also ones going through shock. Nobody has recently gone through a horrible accident, or died. You don't look or sound like you're vomiting. So that leaves depression, or perhaps something I haven't encountered." He said calmly, again staring at the black-and-white she-cat.

"How long have you had a loss of appetite? Since the beginning of the day? Yesterday? A few days ago?"

Darkenedsky nodded her head and ate the leaves laying before her. She listened to Waspwing and flinched a little when he mentioned depression but her face and eyes remained emotionless. No one has died, she meowed quietly.

I've lost my appetite about a couple days ago. Which means about seven days, she meowed remaining expressionless. She didn't know why she was acting so silly because of stupid Foreststep. She has never acted like this before when ever a 'friend' made fun of her or said she should have never been born. Or even when Sagefur started spreading rumors.

Waspwing rolled his eyes and turned away, heading back to his nest. "Well, that isn't exactly something I'm a professional at. If you don't gain your appetite in a few days, come back. But until then, force yourself to eat anyway. Dying of starvation is cowardly and idiotic." He said dryly, beginning to pick at his meal yet again.
