Cherrypaw dragged herself numbly into the medicine den. She wanted advice, but more importantly, something like poppy seeds to calm her down. There was absolutely no way she'd be able to sleep before the event like she probably should. Rest was important, and so was eating (which was something Cherrypaw had failed to do after learning about what was going on), but Cherrypaw had a pounding headache and felt sick in her stomach, having thrown up a few times.
"Waspwing?" Cherrypaw moaned, flopping down in the den on her side, looking around for the medicine cat.

Usually when Waspwing heard his name being called he would sigh or groan, but not today. Most of his patients came in because they had been idiots, and made mistakes that injured them. That or they had minor illnesses that forced him to waste his herbs. But this patient, Cherrypaw, only made him feel sympathetic instead of irritated. He padded over to the young she-cat, trying to think of what to say.
"Stressed, hm?" He said quietly, brushing his tail against her back.

"Much more than that," Cherrypaw mewed in response. "I can't eat, sleep, or do anything. I've thrown up a few times, and my head hurts. Do you have anything that could help?" Cherrypaw remembered that once, when she was a kitten, she was in the nursery while Waspwing was doing an herb lesson. "Poppy seeds might help with some symptoms I'm having, right? I really don't want to be awake right now. I just want to sleep until I'm forced to leave." Would she even be able to keep poppy seeds down, or would those come back up, too? Cherrypaw hoped that, if Waspwing did give her poppy seeds, they'd stay down, because otherwise, she'd be wasting herbs more useful for her Clanmates.
