Creekpaw hadn't been feeling great the last couple days. She lay in her nest, barley able to keep her eyes open. It had been like this for a few days. Mabye Waspwing can help me... she thought, struggling to get to her paws. A few harsh coughs shook her as she got up. Shrugging it off, she made her way out of the apprentices den, heading over to the medicine cats den.
She padded in, almost instantly sitting down. "Hey, Wa-" she coughed. "-spwing. C-can you please tell me what's going on with me?" she called, her posture bent down, trying to calm her stomachache. It wasn't working. A bit of snot dripped from her nose, but she was too tired to reach up and wipe it. More harsh coughs shook her, making her throat raw. Why hadn't she come in sooner? Gah, this sucks.

Waspwing had been eating a plump pigeon when the little voice/coughs. He sighed, pushed his meal away, and turned to the little apprentice, who looked about as sick as a dog. But something was off about this case. This was the second cat he had seen that was coughing and sneezing, the other being Tinywhisker. He tried not to scowl at Creekpaw, since he wasn't truly irritated with her (that and he still felt sorry about her sister's death) "Sounds like you're having a rough day." The comment was supposed to be humorous, but it came out cold and half-hearted. He looked at the snot dripping from her nose and stepped back. "I uh...I could get you a leaf or something to wipe that away with.." He mumbled, trying not to sound rude.

Creekpaw looked down, wiping her nose with her paw. "Hi, Waspwing." she mumbled, flattening her ears. "I don't mean to bother you, but uh..." she trailed off, coughing again. "I haven't been so well the last couple of days." she muttered, trying to keep her eyelids open. It was nearly impossible; she was so tired. Even after taking an entire day to sleep, thinking she hadn't had enough sleep, she was that much more exhausted.
She yawned loudly, curling up on the floor, not caring if she was being rude by doing so. She was too tired. Besides, laying down calmed her stomach slightly. "I'm just so tired. My stomach's killing me, I'm coughing a lot..." As if on que, she started coughing. She looked up at the medicine cat, flattening her ears. She really didn't mean to bother him, but she didn't know what else to do, so... here she was.

(I was going to reply to this sooner, but uh, I got lazy eue. Oh that also means this post itself will be short, uncared for and horrible. Good luck replying to it<3)
Waspwing squinted his eyes as Creekpaw listed off her symptoms. This is exactly what Tinywhisker had. It sounded like a simple cold, but for it to spread onto a cat that probably hadn't made contact with Tinywhisker was worrying. But he wouldn't put little Creekpaw into a panic. For now he'd just give her some uh...Juniper berries and a little bit of catmint, and see if that made her better.
"Sounds like you've got the general Leaf-Fall cold. The cough worries me a little bit, but hopefully some catmint will relieve you of it." He said as he gathered the herbs and placed them in front of Creekpaw. "Sleep here in the Medicine Den tonight, and see if you're better tomorrow. In case this is contagious, we better not let you pass it on to the other apprentices." He said softly, still sympathetic about Creekpaw's death in the family.
