Cheetahfur padded into the den.
"Hawkspirit? I finally got my ceremony! I'm CheetahFUR now!" she purred, hoping to see his familiar pelt.

Hawkspirit turned to find CheetahFUR calling Hawk's name. "CheetahFUR?" he asked, grinning from whisker-tip to whisker-tip. "Oh wow! That's great! Now we'll both be in the same den again!" he said excitedly. Hawk smiled down at Cheetahfur. He was still bigger than her, and he liked that.

Cheetahfur purred when she looked up at him.
"You've grown." she remarked, hopping up to dab his head.
"Everyone's taller than me now!" she whined playfully, like a kit.

"Yes, I have," Hawk replied, chuckling at how Cheetahfur whined like a kit. "That's okay. Most of the she-cat's are smaller than the toms. Except maybe Vaporcloud," he added teasingly.

Cheetahfur rolled her eyes.
"Duh! Vaporcloud was our mentor!" she purred. She looked over at the freshly-stocked pile.
"Wanna share a rabbit?" she asked, noticing the plump rabbit laying on the top.

"Sure!" he replied in thanks. "They're my favorite!" Hawkspirit loved rabbits and was happy to see that this one was plump. "How have you been lately? Have you gotten an apprentice yet?" he asked curiously. Hawk was a curious one. He always wanted to know what was going on.

"I've been good, thanks. ." Cheetahfur answered. "How about you?" she asked, pushing the rabbit towards him.
"You take the first bite." she offered.

"Thanks," Hawk replied. He munched a bite out of the rabbit. "I've been pretty good. I have an apprentice now, actually. Spotpaw. She's a quick learner."

"I also have an apprentice!" Purred Cheetahfur. "Graypaw." Cheetahfur sighed . "They really are a lawful, charging in every direction and begging to be taken out." She purred and laid her muzzle on Hawkspirit's shoulder.
"I feel like I can fall asleep on my paws!"

"Good! They can be a pawful, can't they?" Hawk replied. He chuckled as Cheetah laid her head on his shoulder. "I guess that means I'm your fluffy nest, right?" he joked. Hawk looked at Cheetahfur. "How's your leg been?" Hawkspirit asked, most of the humor out of his voice as it changed to concern.

"Back to normal!" she purred. Then she flashed a look at him. "Then I'll return to being the fastest cat around!" she joked, stretching out her leg.

"Challenge accepted," Hawkspirit replied with an attractive braveness. Oh, what a flirt he was. Cheetahfur then said something about being evenly matched. "Evenly matched?" he asked. "What do you mean?"
