Letting her gaze scan the den, she spotted a Siamese pelt, for a minute she thought it was Pigeonpaw and she let out an inward hiss, but as she blinked her eyes and stared harder in the direction of the cat she discovered it was Vaporcloud. Diamond unexpectedly flopped down on her nest and stared up at her old mentor with eyes that shone, but not with excitement nor pride. But I don't she exclaimed with a shake of her head, I'm not even halfclan I'm a non clan cat and that's how I'll always be. Diamond gazed down at her paws and shook her head, Vaporcloud was right, clanborn or not, she was still a loyal Fireclan warrior. She gave a slight not and looked up at her mentor, not looking her in the eye. I know, and I always have, I just can't seem to tell myself that. I keep thinking I don't deserve to even be part of this clan, but if I didn't would I be here? she let out a sigh and looked down again. The reason for my doubt is because my past still haunts me. Diamond shook her head again and looked at her former mentor. I know, I always have, and I would tell you who, but this is something I need to face alone. My mother can't help me now, she's not part of Cloudclan. Everything is different now. Vaporcloud didn't really know what to think about this at all. This apprentice seemed to get more confusing as the conversation continued. Thinking hard before she answered, Vaporcloud took a small inhale. "What exactly is that supposed to mean? If you don't elaborate on what no means, how am I supposed to respond?" Really she didn't want to make this apprentice feel like the Siamese was being rude, but she just wanted to kow what she was talking about.
