Cloudypaw entered the apprentice's den and she instantly blinked at the unfamiliar den. She had never been allowed into the apprentices den, being constantly shooed out by tired apprentices. She didn't blame them, training was exhausting with all the new experiences. Whenever she passed an apprentice while entering the apprentice den, she expected for them to hiss and tell her to leave, to go back to the nursery and stay by her mother, but now they only acknowledged her with a faint nod. Moss filled Cloudypaw's jaws and she padded over to a spot where the sunlight caught the ground and laid down her moss. As she laid it down, she noticed a puddle a little deeper into the den and padded over to it. She took a few licks and then stepped back, looking at her reflection in the water. Nobody treats me like a kit anymore, she realized, because I'm not one. My appearance has changed. It's just enough for cats to recognize me as an apprentice. Her petite form had grown slimmer and longer the slightest bit, and her fluffy kitten pelt had formed into clean, sleek strokes of fur over her body. Her cheeks were more defined and her ears had gotten the slightest bit pointier. She really did look like an apprentice. She looked elegant, almost.

Splashpaw walked over to the water to take a drink. "Hey Cloudypaw! How are you?" she mewed between gulps.

Cloudypaw turned around, her eyes lighting with surprise. "Oh, hi Splashkit! I mean, Splashpaw! It's so good too see you! How's training? Who's your mentor?" She walked over and rubbed affectionately against her older sister. "Splashpaw, training is so much fun! I never knew there were so many trees! And the territory is so big!" She stepped back and tilted up her head to look at Splashpaw. She had gotten leaner as well, Cloudy noticed, and she smiled. It was nice having a friend to be around in the apprentice's den. Even better, her older sister!

Splashpaw purred. "Training is really fun, but tough. My mentor is Skywing. Who's yours?" She mewed, happy that she and her sister could be apprentices together.

Lionpaw padded over to the two she-cats, one he know from his kithood, and smiled. "Hi, got anymore room for me?" He asked politely, nodding in respect towards Splashpaw. "Oh, and its nice to meet you. I'm Lionpaw." He purred.

Cloudypaw turned at another and smiled at the other cat. Who was it.. Oh! "I think I saw you before, when we were playing hide and seek once... But we never really got to know each other. I'm Cloudypaw, in case you forgot," she added hastily, appreciating that her voice wasn't like the squeak of a kit anymore and trying out her name with the new 'paw' ending. She licked a paw and drew it over her ear, self-conscious that her fur might be sticking up. She didn't want to seem like a kit anymore; she could wash herself just fine, no queens were needed to keep her clean. Cloudy put her paw down, realizing how vain that sounded.

Splashpaw admired how big her sister had gotten. "You look like a warrior already!" she meowed. Splashpaw glanced from Cloudypaw to Lionpaw. "What warrior names would you guys want?" She added, not even sure what warrior name she would want.

Lionpaw smiled at them and shrugged. "I don't really know. I feel like Lionhunter would be pretty cool sounding!" He said, looking to Cloudypaw. "What about you?"

A small pink nose peeked into the den. Soon the nose was followed by the rest of the silver she cat. A silver tabby she cat with dark green eyes peered into the unfamiliar den. Moonpaw had just become an apprentice, and boy was she excited about it! She really liked her new mentor, Greenflare, and she had never imagined that the territory was going to be so huge! She had come in here when she had heard talking in the den. She followed the sound to a small group of cats... "Splashpaw, Cloudpaw!" she squealed. She hadn't seen Splashpaw since being in the nursery, and well Cloudypaw it was still good to see her again. "How have been?"

Splashpaw purred as she saw her friend Moonpaw. "Moonpaw! I haven't seen you in a while!" Splashpaw squealed. "We're finally apprentices!!"

Moonpaw had never really thought about before, but there was one name that really stuck out in her mind. "Moonflight I guess." She said with a giggle. "It kind of has a nice ring to it."
