"Exactly." Cloverstar's voice was brisk as she continued to pace, lashing her tail. She stepped a little too high over a small dip in the uneven ground and stumbled slightly, cutting herself off. She bit back a hiss, feeling the pain in her wounds start to flare up again. Having left them untreated hadn't helped.
"If they have been attacked, then that means IceClan could be the only one left," she went on grimly. "Or maybe IceClan's already been taken down and FireClan and TreeClan are both, or either, still going. Whichever it is, we'll have to get to IceClan first before DeathClan does."
She fought back another wince as she lifted her head, only to move her shoulder and inadvertently twist the injury in it. "We'll have to do it fast. I could go. Are you coming with me?"
Cloverstar knew that moving around in her current condition wasn't the brightest idea she'd ever had. But she was desperate. She couldn't just sit and do nothing while others went out for help. And she'd already gotten RockClan into this mess, anyway. She had to get the Clan out of this as well, even if it took another one of her lives.

Flamepath felt himself instinctively lunge forward as Cloverstar stumbled in the middle of her pacing. He kept himself from pestering her to take it easy but he could not help but give her a worried glance.
He ignored his thoughts and went back to listening. Asking Iceclan in and of itself was a gamble, allainces between diffrent clans does not happen without a good reason. They had no way of knowing if Iceclan would agree but they did have to try and soon.
Flamepath gave a firm nod, " I think you should go, having you go will help express that we are serious and you will probably need to personally speak with Iceclan .... as for me I want to go if you allow Cloverstar... I feel that I need to help fix this in any way I can" He responded as began to wonder if Cloverstar was fit to make the journey up to Iceclan. Of course she isn't he told himself but Cloverstar needed to be their for this sort of negotiation. The deputy had already made a gamble with Deathclan on his own, he could not take that sort of risk again. That and he doubted he could convince Cloverstar to stay behind.
He also was concerned about leaving camp without it's deputy and leader but in reality there was little chance Deathclan would be planning to attack camp so soon after their last attack. Flamepath walked up to the she-cat and nudged her head gently with his fore-head in a small attempt of rensurance.
" When should we leave for the mountains?"

It was settled, then. For the first time since the DeathClan attack, Cloverstar was starting to feel optimistic. It wasn't completely there, but it was a bit of hope, a small thing that was expanding slowly to flare in her chest. Maybe they really could save the Clan.
She felt herself smile. Not smirk in triumph or satisfaction, or just a twitch of her mouth. She genuinely smiled, in this case, at Flamepath. How could she have doubted her decision to pick him as deputy before? He really was what she needed for the job. "Thank you," she replied, and meant it. "And of course. We'll work through this together."
The only little conflict about this plan to leave, Cloverstar knew, was the question of who would be in charge while they were gone. According to the hierarchy, it would be the medicine cat. Or, if they were incapacitated as well, the senior warriors. But they wouldn't be gone for long, and she doubted DeathClan would even notice. They'd have to hurry, however. She couldn't, she thought as she lightly nudged Flamepath's head back, her smile lingering, take any risks now.
His question shouldn't have been surprising, but it still took her off-guard. It didn't take long for her to reply, however.
"Now." The patch-furred cat moved away, decisively starting to walk towards the entrance. "We can't waste any time. DeathClan could be advancing on their territory as we speak. If we hurry, we just might get there before them."
Without waiting for a response, the leader took off through the camp in a run for the territory.
(I'll make the new thread in IceClan.)

Flamepath felt more confident about their desicion after he saw Cloverstar let out a small smile. " Yes, I am sure we can fix this." he mewed in agreement , returning a small grin.
Sitting up straight again, the deputy looked at Cloverstar with a bit of surprise as she got up and declared they would leave now but he had expected she would want to leave as soon as possible. He just let out a small meow in response and got onto his own feet. Befor he even started walking, the she-cat had started off for the territory. Flamepath jumped forward awkardly and raced across camp after her. They would have no time to waste, they had to get to Iceclan as soon as possible.
