Echoflight laughed at CHeetahfur's swift conversation change. "You're terrible," she told her, laughing.

"No, thank you very much," she added after a pause. Then, "They wouldn't be able to handle it."

(*Innocent look* how can you blame them for wanting the most fabulous warrior in fireclan?)
She dismissed Echoflight's 'your terrible' with a flick of her tail.
"Thats understandable. But didn't I see you frolicking with Graypaw a few moons ago?" she thought for a moment. "Hey, whens the last time you saw him?"

[Echoflight]

(silly cheetahfur. and you didn't invite me!)

Echoflight scowled at Cheetahfur's first mention of him, then rolled her eyes at her last comment. "I don't know. Forever. I'm not waiting for him if he's not going to be around--especially if he's not going to even finish his apprenticeship. I've moved on." She shrugged.

[Cheetahfur]

(Well the war's over! Cheetahfur more or less died, but the war's over! *CHEERS*)
"woah there, calm down!" she laid her tail on Echoflight's shoulder.

Poor Echoflight. Shadyfoot thought.

(lol you guys. what about the kits? D8 are they... alive? rescued? i've been so bad about keeping up with this plot. hehe.)

"I'm fine!" Echoflight said indignantly, though she made no move to remove Cheetahfur's tail from her shoulder.

Not wanting to exclude Shadyfoot and Dappledheart, she nodded to them, not unkindly, and said cheerfully, "What about you guys? Toms? Friends? Enemies?" She nudged Dappledheart, purring cheerfully at her old friend. "You're so quiet!"

Dappledheart yawned. "I'm fine Echoflight, just tired. Let's all sleep." Without a word she laid down in her nest and fell asleep. [END]
