Mockingbird was basically in the dens, but she was pretty much outside the dens but in the area around it. The cat was practicing battle moves (whatever younglings call those), trying to see how high she could swing her paw as she jumped. The cat was good at jumping from tree to tree and running an a million other things. She could use them to attack... but that wouldn't be pleasant. Mockingbird never knew why everyone had to be so ruthless, and her kind personality really just made her stand out from the clan. Mockingbird was yet loyal to Death Clan, and was starting to be tougher then her hopeless personality. But yet she still had a kind edge to her, and was merciful in battle. Others called that her fatal weakness, yet Mockingbird never thought so.

"Nice moves," I commented, stalking out of the trees. I had walked past and seen the she-cat in passing. "I don't believe I know your name, though." I had to admit, she would have done well in the battle with RockClan, if she had been there, showing from how she looked.

"Thanks." Mockingbird smiled. "My name is... Mockingbird, though you could call me Jay. I mean..... I don't think Mocking suits me."

I nodded thoughtfully, sitting. "Well, Jay, I think I should introduce myself, as well. I am known as Ashes." I did not say anything after that, offering no conversation-starters, mainly because I could not think of any. All DeathClan cats were mainly solitary, anyway, unless called together for a battle, a meeting, or some other thing that involved getting together in a group.

"Ashes is a nice name. You have any siblings?"

I shook my head. "None that I know of." Many younglings were thrown out into the forest to live a solitary life before they were three moons. I couldn't even remember my own mother, but we were DeathClan, and we lived a much harsher life than those soft Clan cats. "If you have any siblings, do you remember them?"
(Feeling lazy? xD)

"I barely do... but before I was here I um... think I had 4 other sisters.... we got separated I think.... it's a murky memory, I don't really like talking about it." Mockingbird mewed quietly. "But I'm just too soft, even for clan cats. Maybe that's why I joined this group."

(Mind if I join?) Elsa was stalking a brown, thin mouse when she heard a conversation. Looking up, the noise alerted the mouse and it scurried away into a hole. That didn't matter, she had already eaten and could easily catch another one. Padding up to peer out of the thick ferns, she saw two cats talking to each other. That surprised her, as cats barely ever spoke to each other in DeathClan. Apart from my encounter with Rebellion... She thought to herself. Stepping out of the ferns, the white she-cat dipped her head at them. "Greetings." She said, sitting down in the shade of where she had come out from. "If I may ask, who are you? I am Elsa."

"Well, if you got into DeathClan, you're probably stronger than those soft Clan cats." I said. We didn't follow their rules. Then another cat,a white, young one, emerged from the brush. "If I may ask, who are you? I am Elsa." I answered quickly, but curtly, as I would do to a stranger. "My name is Ashes."

Elsa dipped her head to the older cat and flicked an ear. "Greetings, Ashes." Flicking her tail as a sign of no hostility, the white she-cat turned her icy blue gaze on the other cat. "And what is your name?"

The dark tabby padded from his walk to the forest and yawned tiredly. He was ready to take a few hours nap. His ears picked up the voices of cats and one he came to recognize. He padded closer to find Elsa and An unknown cat. His burnt orange amber gaze flicking between the two but decided he would wait to be noticed and sat down with his tail around his paws as he licked his chest fur as he groom. Just to pass the time.

Luna's audits picked up the sound of voices. Her gaze swiftly shifted around the forest, to finnially rest on Rebellion. The Tom sat in the shade of some trees, grooming himself. As she neared him, she noticed the voices were louder. Her gaze stopped on two she cats, talking. Talking. That was something strange, especially in Deathclan. Luna made her way around to the edge of their small clearing, avoiding Rebellion.

His gaze never wavered from where it was as he groomed but he knew she was there and decided to ignore it. Finished grooming he stretched in contentment and turned to look at Elsa and Mockingbird. He unsheathed his claws and slowly raked them against a rock to sharpen them out of boredom.

Luna's sharp ears detected the sound of claws scraping on a stone. She didn't budge, just stared at an overgrown shrub, where she'd seen then tremble. Every hair on her pelt stood on end.
