Pokes head into den and walks slowly to new moss bed. Icypaw had just got her apprentice name and was happy, yet sad to leave some of her nursery friends. Sighs and lays down on mossy bed.

padds into the den to only see an apprentice that she had never met before. walks up to her and meows " Hi im RiverPaw what is your name?" sits down, and examains this new apprentice. ( sees some happy and a bit of sadness in her eyes) " are you sad about leaving your friends in the nursery i was when i first came here" and adds " i bet you are super exited to join us though". and pauses to let the cat talk.

"Ya I guess I'm excited I will just miss my nursery friends." Thnks about fun times as, then brightens as thinks of new experiences ," but now I'm an apprentice and then become the best warrior!" Puffs out chest proudly." Oh and by the way I'm icypaw." She could tell they could someday become great friends.

Ice paw slides into the apprentice den " hi I'm new" she mews "want to be friends my mentor is dust petal you know deputy " she smiles and sat down " I'm new "

"Hi icepaw!" Thinks then frowns,"do you not remember me?" She had hoped this had not been true, for she thought they were friends.

Thank goodness! She thought with relief. "Can you believe we're finally apprentices!!?" She had not expected such a skilled warrior to be her mentor but gladly excepted her kindness.

Turns to river paw and adds," I would like if we were friends." She meowed shuffling her paws. She didn't expect to be friends with a much bigger apprentice.

Nudges icepaw," that is if you want to." She added. She gave icepaw a look that said, we can tour by ourselfs, I think... Then shakes her head as she thought if getting lost. Clears throat," we would like to be shown the territory very much."

"Ok!" She ran after icepaw, paws thundering. My first time out if the nursery! Icypaw thought with excitement. She couldn't believe this was happening, she was running trough the forest, free and wild. Nothing could stop her now!BAM! She hit her head on a tree and sat there for a moment, frozen with pain... Darkness overwelming.

Ice paw stopped and loomed over her friend " icy paw icy paw" she meowed and lifted her onto her feet "are you ok" she meowed "let's head back to camp" she insisted

She did not respond, all she felt was cold everlasting darkness. She felt everything was leaving her, her power, strength, slickness. Everything...
