Fawnpaw silently padded into the apprentice den. It was all so exciting, and all happening so fast. It seemed like yesterday she met her first friend, Flowerkit. The brown she-cat's blue gaze scanned the area, looking for a good place to make her nest. She was currently holding moss in her jaws, and was happy to find a space at the back of the den to set it down. Oh wow. Fawnpaw thought, organizing her nest. I can't wait for my new life to begin.

Icypaw has started her second day with the apprentices good, she had made a new friend, rain paw, and seen the territory. Looking around she spotted fawnpaw,her friend. Tail held high, she padded over to fawnpaw." Hi fawnpaw!" She called." Have you had your morning prey yet, because if not we could go hunting!"

Fawnpaw shook her head. "We haven't had training yet! How would you know how to hunt? Besides, we don't even know our way around the territory until our mentors show us, silly. But there's prey in the fresh-kill pile. Want to take some from there? I'm awfully hungry."

"Sure, I'll get some if you want me to." She offered. She was looking at a big vole placed at the top if the pile. She wanted it.

Ice paw smiled "how are you guys want to play. . . " she meowed " oh we are apprentices now we don't play games" she sighed

Icypaw looked up from the fresh kill pile and noticed icepaw was there, so she got another piece of prey. Trotting back over to her friends, she dropped the prey." So you can either have a vole, mouse, or a bird." Icypaw listed the choices.

Fawnpaw licked her muzzle. "Mm,. We should have vole!"

Ice paw smiled and turned away "I'm going to find dust petal" she said and walked off

"Ok!" Icypaw meowed taking the mouse. With her mouth full she meowed," after this do you want to go practice some hunting and be useful, the elders could use some food?" She suggested.

Fawnpaw giggled. "But I haven't had hunting training yet!"

"Ooo I'm sorry I keep on forgetting." She paused," I can show you!"

Fawnpaw purred. "Have you had hunting training yet?"

"River paw showed me how!" Icypaw meowed and added," she's a really good hunter." She dropped into a crouch and let her tail barley touch the ground and had her weight on her haunches and meowed stalking forward," this is how you do it."

Fawnpaw quickly copied. "Alright, cool. Butt I'm not really in the mood for hunting. I'm just really bored." She meowed, laughing at the end. Fawnpaw then got up out of her position and fluffed out her fur. "Want to play a game?"

"But we're apprentices... We'll we could ask the kits if they wanna play?!" She meowed happily.
