A yawn escaped my mouth as I unfurled from my little ball of a body. My nest was on the out region of the rest of the den, so the air was chilly and quite cold. I almost felt a need to curl back up, but I knew that wasn't the right thing to do. So, I slowly pulled myself up and stretched. A smile was curved as I looked around the den of apprentices. I was an apprentice now and just thinking of it was something I wanted to savor. I eagerly jumped, rolled my shoulders and tried to locate an awake cat. "Hello! I'm new here!"

"Yeah, we know, mouse-brain. Don't act like it's such an important thing," Robinpaw called out rudely from his nest. He was nearer the center, where there was more warmth. Not because of friends, but for the sole purpose of him getting the best spot there was in the den.
Dark amber eyes blinked as Robin sat up straight, licking his chest fur down momentarily. "So what's with your goal to announce your little promotion, Spots?"

Leopardpaw padded into the den looking tired. She had been training all day. Yawning the shecat weaved her way through the nests to find renown before plonking herself down and curling up. Giving her fur a quick groom. Her blue eyes strained to the cats talking and he smiled slightly. A new apprentice? Interesting. "We'll well one to the apprentice then." The older shecat called with a brief smile

I frowned at the cat who had put a damper on my mood. "Well, looks like someone has their own personal rain cloud over their head," I muttered, snorting as I looked away. Shifting into a more positive tone, I gave a smile to him. "Hmm, goal, huh? I don't know maybe to meet a cat who's better than you." I looked over to see Leopardpaw enter. I gave a smile to her as well. "Hello! Nice to meet you!" I meowed in a quite chipper tone. I looked back to Robinpaw, a little smirk growing upon me.
"See, it's already working, Stormy."

"You don't gotta be so rude neither," Thunderpaw grumbled as he padded into the den reluctantly behind Vinepaw. It had been on her previous insistence that he even see this place, so there was no way he'd do it alone. Looking around at the two new faces with reserved hostility, the spiky-furred white tom frowned. Bit of a cruel bunch, weren't they? Not that he was one to talk. Besides, at this point he didn't really have to protect Vinepaw so much. "You're too loud," he informed Vinepaw with a snort, flicking his tail at her ear before moving farther into the den.

I looked over my should at Thunderpaw, a pouting expression lighting my face. "Hmf, well you're too quiet," I muttered, sticking my nose up at him in mock anger. I flicked my tail and looked back to the others, still wary of Stormy. "Pft, c'mon! Let's do something you're all lazy bags of bones until decided otherwise!" I announced, a smile clear as day on my face. "Well, Thunderpaw was already a lazy bag of bones, but now you two are a part of his lazy club!" I said, nodding my head towards him.
"Hey, Squirt, got any ideas?"

She giggled at their banter and shook her head.

"Who else is better than me? I'm already better than all of you obviously. After all, if I wasn't then why is the deputy my mentor?" he said pompously. The black-and-white patched tom rose from his nest, shaking out the moss stuck to his fur and walking over. He glanced briefly at the white-pelted apprentice that had come in only recently, and then to the other spotted one, Leopardpaw. Robinpaw vaguely remembered her from another encounter with some cat named Rainpaw, but he had left because of all the annoying bickering they were making.
Robin glared icily at Vinepaw. "Who're you calling a lazy bag of bones? You're just sitting on your butt over there." He scoffed arrogantly and aimed to hit Vinepaw's cheek with a sheathed paw.

Leopardpaw sighed. "Please stop this pointless bickering you two. And Robinpaw honestly just because the deputy is your mentor does NOT entitle you to act so haughtily." She shook her head at the younger apprentice. "I used to have Dustpetal as my mentor but she was never on. Therefor I was assigned a new one." She gave a fond smile. "Anywho. Lets do something instead of fighting yes? After all we are clan mates NOT enemies."

"I'm loud when I need to be," he fired back gruffly with a flick of his tail. The impudence of the tom was getting to him more than Vinepaw's stupid remarks ever had. Perhaps it was because Robinpaw seemed to actually believe what he was saying, and that amount of cockyness, when he was very clearly wrong, irritated him beyond belief. He was actually grateful when the spotted creature spoke up, and a smirk crossed his muzzle. "Dustpetal is Vinepaw's mentor too, so she's either as skilled as you, or you're as pitiful as she is and need the extra training."
His lips drew back in a hiss as Robinpaw aimed at his friend. ""Watch it," he warned angrily, stepping forward to stand beside Vinepaw.

Twilightpaw wandered into the den, and immediatly spotted a group of cats talking near the center, she recognised two of them as Robinpaw, and Icepaw, the others she assumed were new, "Hi, do you guys want to play mossball or something?" She wasn't comfortable just chatting in the den, she really wanted to get out and DO something.

I frowned at Robinpaw and stood up, shaking out my ruffled fur. "You really do have your own personal storm cloud, don't you? Except, it's raining stupidity and grumpiness," I said as I snorted at him. I looked over to Thunderpaw as he spoke up once more. I came in with an immediate reply afterwards. "Yeah! Wait, hey! I'm not pitiful!" I spun around for a short minute to send a few little paws his way before turning right around to see a paw come flying at me. On instinct, I swung my head back and almost lost my balance. "Hey, c'mon now! You're going a bit too far there, Stormy," I meowed as I raised my brows at him with uncertainty.

Robinpaw rolled his eyes and dismissed their thorny responses with a lazy flick of his tail. He really didn't care what these maggots thought of him; he already knew that he was better than all of them. He snapped at Leopardpaw, annoyed with the she-cat and her pitiful peacemaker crap. "Oh just shut it already. You're not my mother, and you're certainly not older than me." He let out a taunting laugh. "Dustpetal must have found you annoying and not worth her time. A waste of knowledge, too, I bet."
Thunderpaw's protective advance on him made Robinpaw more inclined on bothering Vinepaw. "Oh, I'm sorry, did I hit your girlfriend there?" He mocked, a malicious grin forming on his face. Even though his paw missed her cheek, Robin was still satisfied with the fact that he caught her off-guard. "Pfft, you are pitiful. On the contrary, I'm not. Tell me this, Spot, have you ever even talked to Dustpetal before? Let alone train with her?"

She sighed shaking her head. Not affected by his rudeness. "How bout we leave him Lone hmm? By fighting your only encouraging him. C'mon. Ignore him." She yawned.
