He chuckled. "Goodnight Luna." He replied before sighing and relaxed. His eyes closing so he could fall asleep. Listening to the gentle rain outside

Luna did the same untill she instinctively knew it was morning. The rain still poured.

Luna decided not to wake the Tom up. Luna just squeezed out of the den in search of prey. She parted her jaw, trying to pick out prey scent from the thundering rain. She detected lark and shrew. Quickly, Luna swooped around the edge of a small grass clearing, and found the two arguing over a nut. Luna gave a sly smile then leapt, pinning them both and snapping their necks quickly. She then raced back to the tree hollo, dropping down beside him and pushing the prey to the back so he could chose what he wanted.

He groaned in his sleep feeling the change in the air, or lack of presence. He cracked open an eye watching as Luna left but returned later with prey. "You know you could have woken me up. I don't mind catching my own prey." He rumbled in his sleep filled voice

Luna flicked her ear, and meowed back: "you were sleeping." Her eyes narrowed slightly, ears back. Luna set the pry down, and allowed him to pick.

He scowled. "Don't start with me Luna. Haven't you ever been warned never to poke the bear when it's sleeping?" He growled huffing before turning away. "I'm not hungry anymore."

I never poked the bear!" She huffed. Her eyes turned dark with a mixture of hurt and anger. "I didn't wake you because I thought it would be nice to catch something." She defended herself. Luna grunted and swiped her shrew away and slithered out of the den. She started towards her den.
When Luna made it to her den, she pushed in and went straight to her nest. Luna curled up in it and devoured her shrew in a few famished gulps. Belly full, Luna rested her head on her paws and closed her eyes tightly.
