'Graypaw, Tidepaw, Dogpaw, Nightpaw, Hailpaw, Leafpaw, Bramblepaw, Crevicepaw.' She was now Crevicepaw, and she kept reciting the names of those who shared the apprentice ceremony with her. There were a few other cats involved, but she did not really care for now. She made it! Coming into the apprentices' den after touching noses with her mentor, she was in shock. Spiderleaf never warned her about this. The den was much larger than expected! No queens, no kits scrambling around! This was like living in Cloudclan for her - it was perfect. The Turkish Angora purred, dragging in some fresh moss with her in the attempts to make a bed. The only problem now was finding out where to actually stay. In the nursery, she would try to sleep by the rocks, away from the rest of her siblings, but with no one familiar in here - well, there was Leafpaw, but she did not see her yet - Crevicepaw was stumped. What if she settled down next to a snorer? A kicker? A constant joker? Just thinking about this bugged her so badly that Crevicepaw did what she thought would be the best way to make a new friend - or possibly, a new foe. "I'll just claim this spot right here." she said aloud, creating her bed near someone else's.

Summerpaw looked over at the she-cat, what was her name again. Oh Crevicepaw that's right. She was the new apprentice, that was called along with other while she got herself a new mentor. "Hello I'm Summerpaw." the calico said quietly from the nest next to where the she-cat said she was staying. Summerpaw was a shy cat, and didn't talk much, but as a kit some of her friends had helped her. So she will talk to others but not as much as other cat do.

"Hello, Summerpaw." she mewed, dipping her head in respect to the much older apprentice. Wasn't she the age of warrior by now? Oh well, probably because she was reassigned to a new mentor. It wasn't like it was her denmate's fault or anything, right? Would Silverfoot slack off and neglect her too? Crevicepaw began to worry, but shook it off. There was no need to think that far into the future yet, she did have faith in her mentor, after all. "I'm Crevicepaw." she smiled, trying to start a conversation. "How long have you been an apprentice?"

Summerpaw gave a small smile. "It's n-nice to meet you." she said stuttering a little. It's not her fault she has always done that. She looked at her paws for a few seconds with her forest green eyes. "I've been apprentice for a l-long time now, I had t-two mentors so far and getting a third one soon." she told her, looking back at her. "I hope this one will f-finish my assignments then I-I can become a warrior. I've waited a long time." she countiued.

Crevicepaw blinked, noticing how much Summerpaw was stuttering. 'Maybe she's just not used to me yet.' she thought, watching as how uncomfortable her denmate was around her. No need to ask though, since every cat that their own flaws. As for Crevicepaw? She did not know what was her's yet. "Wait. What do you mean 'getting a third one soon'?" she questioned. Wasn't she just reassigned to a new mentor just this moon? Now she was lost. "I do hope that you become a warrior soon though." she purred, really meaning it. It was not fair to be held back for so long anyways. Summerpaw was the age of a warrior after all.

Flashingpaw padded into the apprentices den, he had just finished battle training with Redfern and he was tired, after all, fake fighting is a lot more energy consuming then it sounds. To his surprise, there stood two unfamiliar she-cat apprentices, he had heard about RockClans new generation of soon to be warriors and had been glad, after all, it reassured his worry’s about the rumors that RockClan was dieing off. But now seeing the new apprentices for the first time a bit of anxiety rose in his mind, after all, he had only meet two apprentices so far, Redpaw, his childhood friend and Twilightpaw, who mostly tended to keep to herself, so it was with a bit of unease that Flashingpaw padded forward and mewed “Hello, my name is Flashingpaw” [Uggg, I was never good at beginnings]

Crevicepaw was too caught up in Summperpaw to notice the tom's entrance into the den until she heard his voice. Turning around, the she-cat smiled at him, realizing that she now knew two apprentices in the clan - well, that actually talked to her in a way. Flashingpaw. An interesting name. "I'm Crevicepaw, one of the newer apprentices." she mewed, noticing that he was a bit older than Summerpaw. Was he held back a bit too? Wow. How many of her denmates were already passed the age of apprentice, but still residing here? Since she did not want Summerpaw to begin her stutter in front of another cat, she looked at the she-cat, and then the tom. "And this is Summerpaw!" She swished her tail, thinking that she helped out the stuttering cat. "Who are your mentors anyways?" she asked, staring at the two. Sure, she should have known Summerpaw's but the apprentice was too caught up in her own ceremony to bother remembering.
introductions are always the worst part. ✿

Flashingpaw took in the sand colored she-cat, Crevicepaw himmm...He wondered if there was a story behind that name... Realizing with a start that the she-cat had spoken he mewed “Oh, my mentor is Redfern” after a moment he added “Shes also my grandmother” he tended to find this fact a bit embarrassing but, oh well, there weren’t that many mentors in RockClan to begin with...

"My third mentor, yes I got my new mentor ceremony, but I-I still don't know who it is." Summerpaw told her, she wasn't really assigned one. Summerpaw couldn't wait though, she was ready to be a warrior and get her own apprentice. "Thank you Crevicepaw." she said with a smile, at least someone cared, right?
The calico was about to reply to the tom, but Crevicepaw did it for her. She smiled at her. "T-Thank you." she told her. She smiled a little at Flashingpaw. At least he has a mentor. "My mentors where Nightsong, R-Raccoontail, and my n-new one is unnamed at the moment." she said quietly. "I'd r-rather have m-my grandmother as a mentor, then n-no one at a-all." she said it was more towards Flashingpaw though.

Flashingpaw nodded towards Summerpaw, “Im sure Cloverstar will find you a mentor soon enough” but he said it with more hope then conviction, he new that the RockClan leader was still distant and disappointed in herself after the recent DeathClan invasion.

Redfern. Why did that name ring a loud bell in Crevicepaw's ears? "Wait!" she yelled, eyes wide at Flashingpaw, not knowing if she would startle him or not. It was just part of her nature. "Redfern, as in the Redfern who is also Spiderleaf's mother?" She did not wait for a reply. "Spiderleaf's my mother, so that makes us," she looked for the word. Brother was not it. He was way too old! "Half brother or something." She nodded, purring with delight at the idea of having a half brother, and not to mention that Summerpaw was thanking her. Oh, apprentice life was grand, indeed. Nightsong and Raccoontail did not mean anything to her though, so she was lost. Who were they and why did she never hear anyone talk about them until now? "Maybe I can ask Silverfoot to train you too!" she suggested, excited by the idea. There was not a moment's haste where she even considered if Silverfoot would be up to mentoring another cat too. "I doubt that she would say no."

Flashingpaw thought about Crevicepaw's suggestion, Silverfoot was a good friend of his and an ally, out loud he mewed “Maybe, Silverfoot has a good heart but she's easily distracted and excitable", he warned, "She’ll put all her energy and heart into a apprentice's training, but if something else comes to mind she may forget about it altogether”(Trust me, I know)

"I hope so." she told him, before looking over at Crevicepaw with a smile. "Thanks but no t-thanks, I can't do that it w-would take up half of your training time." she said still smiling at the offer. The calico looked over at Flashingpaw with her green eyes. That's like that with a lot of warriors she thought.

She blinked, taking in Flashingpaw's words. In a way, that sounded like the apprentice herself, so she bit her tongue, trying to avoid saying anything else that was just out of the moment. "Oh." was all she was really able to say now, for she had no idea where this conversation was now headed, so the Turkish Angora climbed back into her bed and comfortably watched the two older apprentices.

Summerpaw looked over at Crevicepaw, it might be a good time to change the subject she thought. "So... How are you liking b-being an a-apprentice?" she asked her, trying to change it. She gave a small smile, hoping that it would work.
